  1. Theorized it elsewhere, but also want to raise here that I am doubting the slipcase is included from BBTS. They don't mention it in their listing.
  2. If I'm living on the street next month, today was why. Got the Max, and they taunted me with the SHMA MKG and '02 Godzilla...successfully. Ugh. I feel like having to flip one due to circumstances, but probably not. They're just too pretty. You get a free stand for every $100 you spend too. Also a free lanyard if you do a survey, and a free reusable bag. Midtown Comics and Kinokuniya both have some extra swag if you buy Tamashii stuff today too.
  3. Anyone else have Hobby-Genki email them that an item you had listed as wanted came back into stock last night? I assume it was a glitch, or else I'd jump into a wood chipper after missing the Kakizaki DX for $200.
  4. I bet you have two wives, don't you?
  5. Yeah, I'm getting that.
  6. Seriously, for all their faults in build and scale, this is a model kit I don't have to glue and paint (a really expensive one, surely). If no other option to to slake my thirst for green valks exist (c'mon Bandai with a DYRL Kakizaki reissue at least!) , I'd go for this. Just for the hell of it, this is what I dream of looking at the KC valks:
  7. They'd gain some respect if they did a VE-1 and VT-1 as well, but again, this is still KC.
  8. If going for non-canon, I wish they'd do a "What if?" VF-1S Kakizaki version in metallic green. I'd go for that if Bandai or Arcadia won't.
  9. *Breathes* Ok, forget the cel, the goggle molding looks AWFUL to me. Like rough animation, EVEN if it WAS well-animated! 😆 Frankly, the cel shows whoever tooled those goggles must've had a seizure while doing it. Why do they look like that??? (Serves me right for going off memory and assumption, though)
  10. I don't mean the colors, but the painting of it like it's rough animation. That seems hyper-accurate down to the cel, and it looks awful to me.
  11. Thanks for the pix. Not bad, but the natural scale of actual stitching always throws off any figure with clothes, and frankly gives me that doll vibe. Plus, the hair is one thing, but the animation-accurate molding and painting of the googles just doesn't sit well with me versus cleaning that up and making it more concept-accurate. Just my $0.02.
  12. I hope to own that someday too. No, not the Rainbow Brite.
  13. How can they not if this sells? Damn the canoncity when it comes to money.
  14. I hope not. I don't have the back this guy has.
  15. Same here. It's actually getting me to take off work and go to the event. I hope plenty show up so they do more of this.
  16. Nice. I'll take a look around myself.
