Next Gen, DS9, TOS, best treks. Enterprise, I don't hate it but it doesn't stand up to the others. Voyager, ughhhhhh..... I really hated that show. It was the show I wanted to not hate, but it was weak in all places that count acting, writing, concept. FX were okay though. 7 of nine was hot.... You know a show is bad when its only redeeming feature is that it dressed the cute gals in form fitting clothes

yeah the rest of the cast could die with the exception of xavier and logan and I could care less though of all modern models actress's Halle is my fav.

Different strokes for different folks. I like the Xi not because of its look, but more for its story as the first and only MS to be self sufficient. It flew from Jupiter to Earth on its own. And while I could agree with your point.... I simply have to say that while simplistic MS can be good, they have astetically pleasing, otherwise they look too ugly. Thats said.... the Quebley is my favorite MS design. It looks simplistic, has simplistic weapons, one heck of a pilot, and an overall pleasing roundness. I've said it before and I'll say if again, the quebly is one funky looking mecha

1/60th is the ideal scales for a M+ valk people. Bigger does not always equal better. Would I get a 1/48 M+ valk? Sure, it would a dream come true. Does it need to be 1/48 to be the dream? No. 1/48 is going overboard for the macross plus valks. Except for the cockpit a 1/60th Macross plus valk would be able to have as much detail as the 1/48. But this has been said all before. So why do I waste my breath?

well...... as much as I hate to admit any advanced knowledge of the EU for starwars, the explanation for this is this. Han saved Chewie. Under a cultural tradition Chewi owes han his life blah blah blah you know the routine. Also human vocal chords can not reproduce a majority of most alien sounds as aliens can't reproduce most human words. I think George wanted to develop a sense of a port language. For example how at ports many people pick up many different languages, and even at times a port will develop its own language based on a mixture of several different languages. But, thats hard to do, so what we ended up with was every human understanding every alien, and every alien understanding every human in the SW universe.

And dress exactly the same! Imagine shopping in an alien departement store? Thats not so bad when say your dealing with an alien's military, but when you land on the planet and even the civies dress the same as the military. Also language and culture is often to over simplified, with a unified language for an entire species (humanity has well alot of different languages), a single culture (again many cultures exist on earth),,,,, Sheesh. Also aliens that are made to be a sterotype of some extreme aspect of humanity, Klingons, ferangi, vulcans.

Gotta love treks forhead wrinkles. funky hair styles and silly accents I kinda take cliche in stride. though one that utterly gets on my nerves is, space fighters in space flying around like they are restricted by atmospheric conditions. Wish more people would take B5's approach to space battle.

Well as a mod to my last post I have decided there are too many cool mecha to choose from in this series. That’s probably the one thing that keeps gundam so strong, variety. It has something for everyone, silliness, utilitarianism, slick pointless designs where the only purpose is to look cool. Variable designs, massive destruction. Generally speaking I just like the mechanical design of gundam. I have only seen one series all the way through, but still love all the designs from the original MS gundam, to seed. I'm a toy and model nut, sue me Though on a side note I have to agree with Mr. March. The best mecha keep it simple and to the point. That’s probably why my favorite Japanese mecha are ground ponders like Votoms, Dougram, and macross destroids. With patlabors, Zaku 2's, and valks coming next. What makes gundam so cool is the sheer absurdity of it mixed with a modicum of plausibility.

I still say if we see a large scale macross plus valk we will see it in 1/60th scale. But I can say I will be pissed if they make 1/60th macross plus valks and then make 1/48 macross plus valks.

Might as well point out that the MPC VF-1 line is not doing well, sure enough people are buying it to the point that it hasn't been utterly canceled, but there is alot of back stock and the average price drop is to 30, while people are still more than willing to shell out over 120 for the 1/48. Superior toys, superior title. I don't get robotech fans, I don't mind that you like it, what I mind is your lack of respect for the source material. Comparing the MPC to the 1/48 is like comparing that POS matchbox veritech to a 1/55 taka
