playing it now, man is it awsome Not to get too off topic but a while back I heard about a game that was gonna be written by Orson Scott Card, what game was that?

I really hate being a harbinger of bad things, but really, I don't think it is possible to get an animation accurate megs who can transform. Too much magic went into his transformation in the show and comic.

But again it confirms why I only buy sellect pieces from the FIXX line and don't buy the whole series. while it has the looks the material quality is really poor. Go for the prime. If you already have a Hikaru and or a max 1/48 1A wait for a milla 1J Needless to say, it looks really cool. And when you've got like 10 or so valks, something else to display looks pretty good, even if it is only an ok toy (how many people bought the first 1/48s with all the QC problems, only to have them be re-released?). I hear ya about the re-release.

Don't forget that it could also be brawn. Trailbreaker was more a truck than a jeep.

yeah a max and milla 1/48 is almost a certain. I'm skiping the Hikaru and waiting for a Max 1J 1/48

I'd buy several! I just want anything thats not a VF-1. also what do you think are the chances of Max and milla VF-1J's? I think I'll pass on the Hikaru and wait for a max, or a milla.

I always considered Lucy to look less like a babe and more like an eligent lady, though certainly she never plays parts where she actually acts the way she looks IMHO. Thats probably part of the appeal.

If you already have a 1/48 go for the prime! He's gonna sell out, and not be easily available again.

hollywood would ruin Grave of the Fireflies. i don't think any studio is brave enough to kill both the children in the end. I didn't say Hollywood should make it, I was just thinking which would lose the least in translation from ink to reality, and Grave of the fireflies, Kenshin OVA trust and betrayal, and Jinroh, qualify. To a degree I almost forgot I was watching anime as I watched these. However they are great movies as they are. Why bother? The fact that they are animated makes them no less legitimate as quality cinema, I wish people would realize this. Do we see people asking, well what if we made 'Citizen kane' an anime, or star wars an anime (whoops thats been kinda done with that manga and it sucked <_<.) Can't we be happy with the two different mediums apart without having to mix them bringing about unholy POS's? Its like taking classic liturature and dumbing it down for a movie. Generally unless in the hands of a master it doesn't work and even in the hands of a master it will never stand up to the source. Same goes for video games. Is it really as much fun watching the action as it is interacting with it? Not really. Though I would love to see a live action movie with some decent mecha action in it. Save for terminator (do Terminators and HK's count?) I have never seen a decent live action mecha movie. I just know the battletech movie they are making will suck. but I still am going to see it and hope.......

There is only one anime that I think could translate well into a live action movie. And thats Grave of the Fireflies. Jin Roh and the Kenshin OVA's are also possible, but really as Graham said, whats the point? They are fine as they are. Now Hollywood vs Japanese anime. I think both groups produce an equal ammount of bad stuff, with several gems shining through each year. To call either infallable of making crap, or to say each side only make good stuff is a gross mis-statement.

up close, they don't look to good, at least from what I see from the last set.....

though the omni bots do get stomped on in the new comic Actually over drive is a steaming pile of crap in bot mode IMHO. Imposible to stand up, and very loose legs. the other two are very solid in both modes.
