Came here to post the link from Kurama Toys too... I preordered through them as well. Just so I don't have to stay up to 3am kind of madness, getting too old for that lol. Still might try to snag a combo set.

Man I have to say I really really dig the Roy color scheme...olive green makes it soooo military. Max's blue is too bright and oversaturated for me, but I guess ace pilot plot armor can be flashy?

Good point, also if we're being real technical the colors show up differently on your monitors depending on how color calibrated it is...so pictures can be misleading, particularly digital ones. I don't have confidence in Bandai to nail colors, just see the recent release of the Metal Build F91 Chronicle White Ver....They should have called it Chronicle Yellow! All the promo images had it as a cooler white, but the real thing looks like...the same kinda yellowing you see on your aged valks due to UV. They pre-aged it for us! No worries about displaying it in sunlight now!

That's ridiculous... You weren't able to dispute with your credit card company? Something similar happened to me with an eBay preorder, the release date was past 6 months so no way to dispute and seller just gave me the runaround. Learned my lesson after that. At least it was just $130 or so.

Same here, I can't bring myself to pay the current secondary market prices but the Ozma is my favorite. Hope they do a reissue with matte finish and armor parts!

Got this new from Mandarake for fairly cheap... But of course it doesn't come with a stand. It's meant to be the fold version, so doesn't make sense to have landing gear out and I'll never transform it. What stand options are compatible with the DX VF-25 ver 1.0 mold in flight mode?

Eh, it wasn't that bad as long as you paid attention and ordered when it released. Perhaps more difficult later on due to popularity. The PO for many tamashii web exclusive metal builds stay open for quite a while on P-Bandai USA, while they sell out in a couple minutes on the Japanese site. It's been great for TWEs as those always have been the iffiest. GFFMC Wing you could actually order 6 copies when it released, which I should have done lol. Snow white prelude I was able to get through Bluefin rather easily as well. -
Yeah I'm gonna wait and see...their customer service wasn't very responsive/helpful to begin with even before these issues, so they always have been more of a last resort for me. I guess we shall see...

Oh I'm not complaining, P-Bandai USA is great for us collectors. Just this one isn't for me is all. I'm happy with the Full Cloth.

Wow, that's $20 more than I thought it would go for. $300+ once you factor in shipping and tax. Pass for me.

Based on past pricing, likely something like 260 or so pre-tax and shipping. Probably 280 once all is said and done.

I compared the pics to the original, and I honestly think this new version and all its decals messes up the look. Maybe the matte paint finish will look nice though? With white plastic I'm always worried about yellowing.

Get one and see if you like it...I just have the 30th Anniversary Messer and the VF-2ss Silvie, and that was enough for me. Too much parts-swapping and bits and pieces to keep track of, In Bandai Gundam terms it's sorta like Metal Build vs Robot Damashii.

My first Roy definitely has landing gear panels that just don't close quite as flush and nicely as my HIkki, seems the plastic is just slightly warped. Haven't opened my second to check. QC Bandai!

The one branch that will auto-calculate shipping is SAHRA, you can see the shipping price as you go through checkout. However it tends to be more expensive than other branches that get back to you with shipping price, presumably because they build in a safety margin. Makes quite a difference if shipping DHL, maybe acceptable if SAL.

Heven't transformed mine to take a look, but it seems to be a fairly common issue in the left shoulder. saw a couple Youtube videos with similar issues.

Actually mine just updated as being picked up by DHL, arriving here in the states Thursday Dec.03. So fairly quick! Now my eBay backup might take a bit longer... Before Christmas basically.
