Up to 42, god those punks are annoying.

FFT characters would be great as Gashapon. You've got like 12 jobs and one character for male, the other for female so that's already 24 characters, plus Ramza, since he generally keeps his own shape no matter what job.

The dendrobium was part of the HGUC line, because to make it part of the MG line would have meant it would have been the size of a volkeswagon. 373795[/snapback] Ah yes, silly me, thinking that 1/144 MG Gundam Kit exists. Also, seeing of the labor and material costs, this would probably be around 120- 150 USD to just break even. I don't think the Deepstriker is cheap to manufacture, lest even the Denny.

This is what the Flak Jacket accessories are for. Also, if I were the Bandai marketing manager, I'd probably release it in a different order. Alphonse goes out first, but then probably one of the construction labors after. I'd probably only release perhaps 6-7 of them in a year. This way, at least it keeps on the scene for about 3-4 years time, just like how the current GFF is doing.

ZOMG... that girl! Chapter 32!!! FAP FAP FAP! Nice pet. I'd hit it.

I thought the Denbrobrium would be AT LEAST a master grade kit? not High Grade U Century? I mean, $400 kits aren't exactly material to be "dumbed" down to a more inferior quality. $400 should be looking already at the Perfect Grade, no? Can you post a scaled schematic of the Deepstriker's size vs Denbrobrium?
-
A 1/144 Denbrobrium FIX? Yeah, that'd require like 4 of the Deepstriker Boxes.
-
Ah sh1t, I painted the missles all olive green too. I thought the original color just looked WEIRD.

I'm actually quite happy with this diecast version and I'd hate to say it, but I like this a bit more than a model. Not too sure why, as models generally have much more detail, but this is fine for me.

The Star Wars Action Fleet is possibly one of the best lines of toys for the SW license. These were just what I always wanted as a kit. I was disspointed with the scale of the following: Imperial Shuttle Millenium Falcon Rebel Blockade Runner (never bought it because of the so screwed up scale, if you can even call it that) AT-AT walker (again...wtf) Star Destroyer ( think this wasn't official retailed though). I'd easily pay for more since the toy would be bigger (except the ISD, I sure as hell don't have 5.6 meters of shelf space to fit a somewhat scale sized star destroyer, so no. Thinking about it now, I think this line was the ONLY American manufactured toy that I'm proud to display in my cabinet. The rest is pretty much from Japan.

Oh god, I could keep on rambling forever but: This is my top of the list: PATLABOR FIX FIGURATION 1/35 scale High Quality Toys This toy line would pretty much be the counterpart to the quite popular Gundam Fix Figuration line of already made models. Features include: • Opening cockpit and removable pilot. • Changeable head so you can put on the riot visor. • Left and right legs can open up on the side so the Ingram can reach for the 37 mm revolver. • Posable characters in 1/35 scale • Made of the same type of “plastic†as the GFF line • Made by Bandai Models (all 1/35 scale): 1) Patlabor Fix Figuration 0001: AV-98 Ingram – Alphonse 2) Patlabor Fix Figuration 0002: AV-98 Ingram – Ota 3) Patlabor Fix Figuration 0003: AV-98 Ingram – 3rd 4) Patlabor Fix Figuration 0004: AV Type Zero ( as seen in the first movie) 5) Patlabor Fix Figuration 0005: HAL-X10 6) Patlabor Fix Figuration 0006: Construction Labor HL-96 Tyrant 7) Patlabor Fix Figuration 0007: Roadrunner (seen in 2nd movie crossing the Yokohama bridge) Patlabor Fix Figuration 0008: ARL – Military Hell Diver 9) Patlabor Fix Figuration 0009: Command Car and Capt Gotoh’s mini car 10) Patlabor Fix Figuration 0010: EXLT Spider Tank Labor (2nd movie) 11) Patlabor Fix Figuration 0011: Attack Helicopter Gong-1 (2nd movie) 12) Patlabor Fix Figuration 0012: Al-97 Hannibal (2nd movie) 13) Patlabor Fix Figuration 0013: RAHDA (UN Forces) (2nd movie) 14) Patlabor Fix Figuration 0014: Construction Labor HL-97 Bulldog 15) Patlabor Fix Figuration 0015: Shaft Enterprises – Phantom 16) Patlabor Fix Figuration 0016: Shaft Enterprises – Griffon 17) Patlabor Fix Figuration 0017: Type-5G/1C Grau-Bear 18) Patlabor Fix Figuration 0018: SV-2 Labor Carrier (Holy crap this thing would be HUEG like the Xbox) 19) Patlabor Fix Figuration 0019: ULTIMA RATIO air blimps (I’m not too sure about 1/35 scale though) 20) Patlabor Fix Figuration 0020: Type-7B/2B Brocken Accessories 1) Flak Jackets to cover over Ingrams as seen in the 2nd movie. 2) Keisatsu – Police Cruiser (diorama prop) 3) BEL – 1999 Caldia (those small red little sentry bots guarding the Arc) I could seriously think of way more kits for this if I were to scour the Patlabor TV series/movies again. Yeah, how sweet would this be! I guess a far retail price would be about $40 USD each for most of these items, but some will be more, some less. The Labor carrier would be probably close to $90 some. What do you fan boys think?

Onions are enough for me.

There looks like a very small gap for her to get into the front seat in the cockpit. Either that or she just hops over. Yum.

Just finished reading the 1st chapter of Gantz where those two kids happened to be transported to this new "world". Okay, I'm hooked. That's for sure. I've been wanting to reading something like this to follow up on Battle Royale novel I read a few months back. This might just fit the bill.

Well, I'm getting episodes 1-4 from the group "KAA" right now. What episodes have been released thus far and by whom? Thanks.

Holy s-hit. How come I'm letting all these mecha series get away right under my fingers? Jeez man, I've been wanting to see something Air Combat/Macross like for quite a while now. I've had my share of the quirky funny anime recently, and I'm in dire need of something "mecha" like. I hope this fits the bill. Seeing all these post in 2004 makes me feel sooooo..... lost. Well, at least I saw GITS: SAC 1&2... Missing this...missing Gunbuster....missing...bleh. So, not wanting to derail this thread, but I believe I'm missing out on some of the most fantastic mecha series. Personally, I'm more into the mecha itself than the story. So don't be surprised if I find myself fast forwarding in these "Yukikaze" episodes to get to the battle sequences. (Snow Wind...from how I'm interpreting the romanji) Series I'm SERIOUSLY wanting to be my hands on (as well as toys) 1) Gunbuster 1 2) Super Robot War (I know this is the PS2 game, but there are 4 injection kits from Kotobukiya I WANT) 3) Five Star Stories (God! These kits are absolutely sexy!) I've almost got most of the Macross kits I want, besides the Macross Zero stuff. I'll hold on that for now...since I've got a whack load of it. Once I get my command car from saverobotech, I think the Patlabor department is finished up as in terms of model kits. And yes, the ever present Gundam. I have yet to buy a Master Grade Gundam Kit. How sad.

Actually, that's true about the cockpit. I have to keep remembering the ingress/engress hatch is at the back, which is how the alien got from the ramp and made out with Ferro.
-
For the price, I think this is what should have come WITH the Dropship: 1) One APC. 2) a set of 6 marine figures. 3) One powerloader. 4) A few metal crates (3) to give it some "environment". 5) One queen alien. 6) One alien warrior. These other things mentioned could easily, and I mean easily be included with the dropship for that kind of price, honestly. Things that could have been improved on the dropship: 1) Opening cockpit (as mentioned above) 2) Missiles that can be detached. God this was a pain trying to paint with the olive green. The peachy colored missiles stick out WAY too much. 3) Perhaps make the rear a bit more interesting? Much of the attraction is at the front, where the eyes are drawn to, then the swing missle pods, then the rear foldable missile launchers.
-
SUUUUU WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! I think the set is incomplete without the APC, it just adds that extra touch, because when friends come over, they'll ask, "dude! do you have the APC too? NO WAI!" "O RLY" "YA RLY" Yeah, got my APC today, super happy.

Gundams have surfboard? sauce plz. (Again, I'm pretty ignorant about the Gundam universe...sooo.. I'm only really into the kits, not so much the story).
