Yes, I did have success for my YF-19 Full Set Pack, price was 28k and they declare it for 14k while shipping. I didn't get charged by Customs which was great! However I think it doesn't work always but it has worked a few times for me. I use the Comment textbook while creating the order to ask for a lower value, most of the time I ask for at least half the value of each item.

EMS to Mexico is about 4,200 - 4,500 so Mandarake is a good deal and you can ask to declare a lower value for the item to avoid customs. While buying at AJ you always pay customs in Mexico which makes things like this one more expensive.

Does Okini Land declare a lower value if you ask for that? Where I live it is very common to be charged by Customs. I was wondering if they honor a declare lower value request.

I guess it depends on what proxy you used. When using DeJapan you need to ask for the shipment once it has arrived and then you get the invoice for the shipping cost. Hopefully you will get it soon!

I would say it would be between the VF1A Max and the current prices for VF1S Hikaru, between 22k and 26k yens but after some weeks, not days. Max is also getting scarce every day on YJA also, let's see what happen in the next few days and wait for a good deal.

You can activate alerts for specific items at Mandarake, they usually work OK, you will receive an email when an item of your interest is posted which is usually which in early AM hours central time.

I got the 28k shipped to Mexico by EMS for 5,200 yen. I activated the alerts for this one some days ago and as soon as I received the alert on my email I ordered it.
