As others have already mentioned you it is necessary to become a hunter at AM hours for Mandarake but sooner or later you will hit a good deal. Base prices at Mandarake are 42k for VF-1J, 26k for VF-1S, 22k for VF-1A Max, 22k for VF-1A Kakizaki, this should be your guide on brand, new, sealed items.

Got a Kakizaki today at Jungle for 25,300 plus the 5% fee they charge, not a bad price. They also declare a lower value when shipping by EMS so I expect no to be charged by Customs. Total charge should be about 300 USD. They usually have higher prices than Mandarake but they provide a good service.

I wrote to AmiAmi a few days ago about declaring a lower value and they confirmed what they state on the FAQ section so no, they cannot declare a lower value. I also orederd a Kakizaki from Amazon J and like you I prepaid custom fees but at the end it was a good price since hunting one in Mandarake is difficult right now.

My YF-19 Full Set Pack shipped from Nayuta Store, I paid 5,200 by EMS to Mexico and they declare 14k instead of the 28k.

Yes, I did have success for my YF-19 Full Set Pack, price was 28k and they declare it for 14k while shipping. I didn't get charged by Customs which was great! However I think it doesn't work always but it has worked a few times for me. I use the Comment textbook while creating the order to ask for a lower value, most of the time I ask for at least half the value of each item.

EMS to Mexico is about 4,200 - 4,500 so Mandarake is a good deal and you can ask to declare a lower value for the item to avoid customs. While buying at AJ you always pay customs in Mexico which makes things like this one more expensive.

Does Okini Land declare a lower value if you ask for that? Where I live it is very common to be charged by Customs. I was wondering if they honor a declare lower value request.

I guess it depends on what proxy you used. When using DeJapan you need to ask for the shipment once it has arrived and then you get the invoice for the shipping cost. Hopefully you will get it soon!

I would say it would be between the VF1A Max and the current prices for VF1S Hikaru, between 22k and 26k yens but after some weeks, not days. Max is also getting scarce every day on YJA also, let's see what happen in the next few days and wait for a good deal.
