Ouch, it hurts to see that nosecone cocked to the side like that it's crazy! I too was going to share on the forum of my issues with the toy which is in pieces at the moment. - Mine came with inferior paint job (the norm perhaps), a fiber stuck in the paint & spider cracks along the frames of the canopy (never a dull moment), and dings & dents in various places from final assembly and packaging...Now every time I open up a DX, anxiety sets in and my heart sinks because it's almost certain that I will find QC shortcomings. Some WIP shots; I had to conceal unsightly imperfections/cracks in the canopy thus went with a layer of yellow pearl + clear yellow without making it too opaque, Then redo the black canopy frame hoping it'd work out. Lastly I pasted Max's name tag thanks to awesome decals from @Anasazi37.😁 BTW, is Max a captain or a general flying the durandal in the last movie?? Somebody let me know please.

It's a drawer hinge type you just have to line it up and push it down. Do check if your front landing gear is sitting flush inside the landing bay too because it seems to affect how the covers close in my case. Speaking of cases, oh boy I have my 29's in pieces at the moment with various QC shortcomings.😔

Been searching for a good representation of Frontier girls and finally got these old relics from the past. Very impressed with the quality overall, looking forward to transforming Sheryl & Ranka when my ladies aren’t around.😂

enamel washing works too. Either method will not affect the tampo printing and yes a layer of top coat would be necessary to seal the deal.🙂

It may not come with the wakure stand which was included in the first release. Hopefully they give us supposedly a newer improved mold with better tolerances.

I did not jump on the bandwagon on this because I couldn't afford to get 5 of em. Will regret when there's demand and hefty premium on these down the line. 😁
