While it is amazing art, it didn't fit well within the available area on the SNES cover - and truth be told, I prefer an action shot which is what would have been traditionally used for a North American released game.

My younger brother has finally had nostalgia hit him hard for all the Robotech he grew up watching, which has led both of us to consuming every single Macross show in existence. While we both decided to aim for collecting higher end figures ( DX CHOGOKIN VF-1J shall be mine one day!), I could not resist buying this 'masterpiece' for fairly cheap (MIB for $60us, shipping included) to see how it compared to the Jetfire I owned. So yeah, these guys do feel like garbage in hand (and of course the light electronics no longer work) but decent for the times and for what I spent on it.

Necro'ing this thread as my first post on the boards - as I'm just getting back into Macross collecting and made this one of my first purchases so I have something to play while I wait for my other toys to arrive However since I store all my SNES games in matching custom cases, I had to throw together some custom box art for this one since it has never had a North American release (and figured someone would appreciate it here or might even have use for it)
