@Seto Kaiba regarding the labels, doesn’t it make more sense that they’re different classes? Sensors/targeting lasers vs. weaponized laser? I have no clue, so I’m asking.

A few more details. Inside and out. Starting to put warning labels on everything because who doesn’t like more danger!

Finally getting to the panel lines and fasteners. Trying to get the fasteners looking right - not yet I think. The hex bolts in the back of the head maybe need to be reversed, to hold in the laser turrets. Still working it out. Going for a legit IRST look. So I think there need to be hex bolts, pan head screws and round head screws, counter sunk and counterbored, respectively. Trying to locate them in the same positions as in the Studio Nue drawing details.

Little by little... Once I realized the head is really an IRST system, opened up a whole world of possibilities. By the way, thank you mr. or ms. "Somebody" for liking these! I see you.

Wiring Looms, hydraulic lines, electrical, and various new mumbo jumbo. I'm scared to IK rig the launch arm, so I'm procrastinating with cable routing. LOL! Still way too neat and clean in there, but hopefully I can get some chaos in soon.

Good! Because this is the V3 fuselage. Lol. The V2 was pretty good, but this one just looks so much better around the seams. This one will be taken to final. (Finally) Thanks Knight26!!!

Still some very minor (fixable) puckering around some corners, but overall, this will go to final. I can live with some of the imperfections in this one. Feels right to me!

Don’t hate me, but I had to rebuild the fuselage again. I cut the panel lines too soon in the previous one and I couldn’t control the buckling and puckering. Here’s the newest (best) one so far. Toight like a toiger.

Some exterior modelling by mark jordan, lit and rendered by me. Still a lot in progress, but you can see where this is going. Hopefully! Basic textures for now until I distress them for scale. FYI, I know the catapults are backwards. -

A little more progress today on the deck texture, and signage graphics. Starting to add the support vehicles - standard tow tractor for now, as I haven't built have any Macross ones yet. This one was a freebie from grabcad. -
