My compensation from Play-Asia! They offered me free shipping of any amount for my next 2 orders, however, I proposed buying from Buyee and that they reimburse me the difference in store credits. That sucks That is one obvious crack and I wonder how did that get passed QC? Seriously there are way too much QC issues on this VF-1S. The Max was fine thou.

For those who overpaid at NY and pending, I highly recommend just cancelling from them and just grab one of Buyee. They are going for about 31000yen~ including shipping to USA. Edit: There's one now with a buyout price of 24800yen excluding shipping and fees. (Sold)

Well, I am keeping my expectation really really low as I may end up with only a discount coupon for my next purchase haha. Latendo is alright, kinda expensive. The Falcon's Hangar is the one I would recommend with great prices and excellent service. Too bad they are unable to get hold of any VF-1S http://tfh.com.sg

Basically you are bidding off Yahoo japan auction and there's additional shipping and service fee. You can get the total estimated cost at the item page during bidding.

There are about 100 unbid listing in Buyee, but of course am not certain if prices will go up or down. If the price of 25000yen is comfortable for you I would say go for it. So you too got your VF-1S order cancelled from Play-Asia? I just spoke to their upper management today (they called me from Hong Kong via international call) and they are going to compensate me for their mistake as I don't accept their refund. They will work it out and let me know. I am suggesting to them that they pay the difference by buying a mark up from 3rd party sellers. Overall I have to say it's certainly professional of them to even call me up.

One of the Japanese got his VF-1S shoulder stuck during transformation. Another guy with the index finger fixed wrongly. They highly recommend to open up once received.

Shops should be the one handling for you for overseas customers. I got my GX-40R Godmars with a broken arm for one of the robots, contacted Tamashii and they told me to contact the seller. My seller was nice enough to send it back to Japan for replacement. But it will be a long long wait of maybe 6 months or more.

23000yen sounds about right. Buyout average in Buyee is 25000yen and average bidding price is not more than 25000yen currently. Seems that the price is dropping, it's worth a wait.

Guess am the only one who got my order cancelled at Play-Asia lol. What's funny is that after receiving the notification a day before release, I happened to add one at AmiAmi and got cart jacked during checking out. I guess what is not yours is not yours

Well that sucks... Not sure if this implies anything, but there are more than 100 unbid listings for VF-1S in Buyee.

It's their mistake as the VF-1S page clearly stated that they will only open preorders once they have confirmed stocks. Now that Bandai cut their orders it has nothing to do with me as a customer. I am not expecting anything but it's worth a shot anyway. Who knows maybe they are able to get me one.
