Thanks that appears to (it is suppose to anyway) work but it keeps declining my payment methods paypal and credit card with an error message about insufficient funds. I even got a fraud notification from my bank after trying to use my bank card. lol. I cleared that up and it still won't let me pay for the item.

By the time I got up and saw that it was gone, no way that I'm going to pay over 30,000 yen for one of these. I'm waiting for Fokker version. Also I checked yahoo auctions and ALL of them say they won't ship outside of Japan. Either I'm missing something here or posting about those on here is kinda futile I dunno.

That's my plan. I mean I don't want to knock anyone for buying this obviously beautiful VF-1S with the red paint, but I overall want the Roy Focker one more.

I'm banned from MyKombini because they couldn't get their act together on fixing my HMR VF-1A that had incorrect parts. Good luck if you ever have anything go wrong with your order, they aren't very kind there when that happens. They lost a lot of sales due to that.

I built the Si (Lepin) version cost me $40 shipped. Only missing one piece, no malformed pieces and came with all 5 lion stickers. Really nice kit.

Guys seriously, if the guy can work out a trade on that VF-1A let him, why rain on his parade. Just because the VF-1S is overpriced and at scalper cost now doesn't mean that nobody wants a VF-1A. They are nearly the same jet anyway just different color scheme and different head. Not many TV versions of this valk are out in the wild too after all. And as we all know, the ones people want the least are usually the ones that people spend more money on. All depending on various factors.

wow I bet they are selling more missile sets than valks :P Well, anyway here's to waiting for the roy focker vf-1s no idea when that comes out, summer maybe?

Ohhh okay thanks for letting me know. Yeah I've seen them jump way up in price too quick then. Yep just looked it up, $300+ at various sites but you're correct a lot of sites had it for around the 18,000 yen mark for pre-order. Well I just want the yellow Focker variant anyway hopefully they release that one. The red one indeed looks nice but I'm more partial to the VF-1A model for that color scheme in the movie.

I skipped on the 1s because it is overpriced, it doesn't come with missiles or fastpack armor set and costs almost 2x as much as the vf-1a. Odd that bandai is price gouging like that. It's just a different color valk with a different robot head. If I'm mistaken on any of the above please correct me but that's how I see it.

Well I believe everything F360 says he's been on this forum for a long time, I've seen his posts. Seems like a knowledgeable person. I'm willing to hold out that long and wait. I ordered the fast pack armor, hopefully it fits on the VF-1A. Though I know that TV model probably didn't have them and especially not strike packs, but I'll be putting the strike pack on mine anyway heh. At least, until they release a Focker vf-1s.

Ohhh okay I haven't transformed mine yet, thanks for pointing that out. Awesome. also thanks for the tip about the missile set, I will have to keep an eye out for that.

The hands are not articulated, they are molded in place. It appeared in photos like the ones that came with the vf-1j are articulated but I can be wrong though, as I don't own one to check. edit: corrected in below post by F360.

Hm I noticed that this VF-1A does not have articulated hands, whereas the VF-1J appears to have articulated hands. I guess the VF-1J is a limited more premium model than this one. Still need to get my hands on a VF-1J Hikaru. Also I noticed that the missile set, though separate, came out at what 4,400 yen or something now it's like over 10,000 yen.

Alright well I was sick for the past several days and in the meantime got my 2nd vf-1a. Going to open one up right now. The other one I'm keeping safe in the Amazon shipper sealed in their plastic wrap. Ok so opened it up. Very nice model. I'm pretty impressed that it came with a stand too, did not know that. I just lowered the landing gear, going to have it in fighter plane mode for a while because I haven't seen this variation of color on a premium valkyrie yet before. Pretty nice.
