Nice. Do you have any plans on buying more than 2 of any future releases for diorama or etc? Or customs? Also any plans for panel lines on that VF-1J? looks awesome with panel lines imo.

Hi Mr. sh9000, just curious how many vf-1a max and vf-1j hikaru do you have in your collection? I just bought my second max was 199 plus shipping (sold a free item on ebay for 79 yesterday so that money went toward my second 1/48 purchase )

I watched some Xabungle it is semi-decent, not too bad. The toys are neat.
-
I hope you all get the ones you want really. It's a great hobby.

Any date for this pre-order of VF-1J Strike Valkyrie?
-
Hopefully it won't be difficult to PO but it is a Focker so it could very well be. Now I just need to figure out how many I want, at least one or two. Definitely worth opening and putting on display.
-
Was wondering where I could buy that. Thank you.
-
If that's true, that they are re-releasing the VF-1S Roy Fokker Strike, I'll definitely buy it. Thank god for reissues, too. Makes things a bit easier.
-
I checked this out, overpriced since it doesn't come with the strike pack which is separate. I'll still pass. Not my favorite valk.
-
Umm my original question was where to buy, not whether or not someone else found a deal and can't share the deal with others. As far as pestering goes, who said I was in this to try to annoy someone on facebook? you?
-
I'm so glad I didn't buy any 1/48 Yamato after seeing these Bandai quality is second to none.
-
ok so how to find this source on facebook? I looked and don't see it
-
Yup hmm no idea how I missed that it ever even came out. At least I got max though that one is the most unique so far.
-
any site with a good price on those? I was looking earlier today but looked like 350+ dollars
-
When is that Japan toy show coming up, the 25th of October? I forget. Will probably have to sift through this thread to find
-
I got my Max in the mail today from amazon japan. expensive sucker, not sure if it is worth it but I just went for it anyway. no announcement on a roy strike? I'm still not feeling it for the movie strike, gotta be a fokker or at least a hikaru yellow and black imho.
-
heh that's the thing I want to keep mine sealed when I get it, but I also want to look at it. so I guess I have to open mine :O
-
Ohhh whoops

amazon.co.jp has them, I paid $209 https://www.amazon.co.jp/超時空要塞マクロス-マクシミリアン・ジーナス機-約300mm-ダイキャスト製-塗装済み可動フィギュア/dp/B07QC9VHJC/ref=sr_1_1?__mk_ja_JP=カタカナ&keywords=bandai+macross+dx&qid=1570466009&sr=8-1

I just bought one Max. Overpriced toy but had to have at least one "TV" version max in my collection. Now to wait for a Roy Fokker strike valkyrie and more VF-1s from the other line of Bandai toys.
-
I'll save my money for more VF-1s, pass on this. Hopefully hobby show this month displays some new stuff

A Discussion - Buying Multiple Pre-Orders To Sell To Pay For Units Being Kept

I'm a scalper. Doesn't bother me one single bit. I even stated that before on here and a few other things and got banned. That doesn't bother me either. LOL. It surely did not affect my collection or my capability to purchase more Macross stuff. -

I tend to disagree on the basis that no Bandai valk is rare. I emailed back and forth with a guy a few years back and he pretty much explained the entire thing. Without going into too much detail, there are people out there that buy all of 1 item on ebay and keep buying it til the price gets artificially inflated. This guy in particular did that with all the ""rare"" (not rare at all!) 1/55 valkyries and he was hoarding dozens of them, only to later on sell them all back on ebay because his wife wanted him to make room in his home office. It all comes down to supply and demand. If there is little supply and high demand, then the price goes up. We learned this what in the 7th grade? -
I just transformed one of my VF-1D and I can't agree more. Also yeah when I was a kid, my parents didn't have tons of money to spend to begin with so yeah I kinda doubt they were in the market for a valkyrie back then as a gift. We didn't get many toys, nowhere near as many as these millenial kids do these days.

More like supply and demand than anything else. If you think about it for a minute anyway.
