I'm playing it on PS5 with LG C2 48" OLED seems to look pretty good. Yeah I collect the toys but most of them I bought when they were released so saved a little money that way. I'm still missing a few but I'll acquire them in time. I will probably need to spend about a grand or so if I want to get everything I'm missing from my sets since the 2000 reissues. I also would like to get a 1/55 Elintseeker one day or hopefully they will make a 1/48th Chogokin.

I just bought this and I hope the quality is good. I have a 4k bluray player (ps5) and regular bluray player (Ps3, ps4) so I'm set for players and yeah I know a playstation isn't the top notch best player but it's all I'm going to use. The film itself cost me $70 shipped from amazon US site. Most expensive movie I have ever purchased. Right now I'm watching Genesis Climber Mospeada until I get this new movie in the mail 😛

it's just my opinion and from not owning any Yamato 1/48 that the Yamato stuff may have better detail but the build quality and mechanics aren't as good as Bandai 1/48 scale stuff. I could be wrong but I mean if I'm looking for a more rigid transformable product that possibly is resistant to yellowing I would go with a 1/48 from Bandai. I only own the smaller scale Yamato stuff, the whole set in V1 only none of the perfect transformation ones. One of my valkyries, the only one I ever unboxed, has bad yellowing. One day I'm going to shoot primer over the whole thing and re-paint it. I'm fairly disappointed with Yamato quality. But again that is just my opinion.

that's how I feel about it. we wouldn't have seen macross or mospeada without robotech. also as long as the toys are good, doesn't matter a whole lot to me if it says macross or robotech on the box. the toy itself is what it is.

I'm still a bit baffled as to why Bandai isn't burning a hole in my wallet over these things. I mean, we were getting a pretty steady batch of preorder merchandise there for a while. I'm not complaining but it would be nice to see more VFs on the way in this scale. And kinda almost odd that there isn't a CF in chogokin 1/48th. To me, anyway. I check here often to see if any new stuff is coming out.

I have a VF-1J that came with a broken part. I didn't even bother to attempt to get an RMA fix for it. Your best bet is to just buy another one.

I just got my last two VT-1 Superostriches from Luna Park today. So I have one out of the box and two factory sealed. Can't wait to see what they come up with next.

My remaining 2 Superostrich order shipped. I should get it pretty soon this week. Now just waiting for the next release I wish they'd release a Hikaru movie VF-1A but first, VE-1 Elintseeker would be cool.

They said they are shipping more next week. Hopefully that is true.

Luna Park is stalling on my shipment. Not sure what for. I might have to file a claim with paypal guys, this isn't getting me anywhere. I wonder where else I should order from when I get the money back.

Anyone figure out where the antenna goes? The box art shows it but there's no hole in that middle piece for an antenna. There's a hole underneath that part though, strange. whoops nevermind that's for gerwalk mode.

I have 3 of these coming from Premium Luna Park. Hopefully they ship soon. Would like to acquire one more VF-1D also but damn they are expensive. I still have one brand new in box. Accidentally broke the rear wing off of the first one I bought.

I got the glue. It is too small of an area for good adhesion so it didn't work. I might try one more time but I don't think it's going to hold. I might end up selling the valk as broken and buying another one who knows. I have stated broken item and sold one in the past before.

Man, now I really hope they release an elintseeker.

The activator in Tamiya ABS cement is acetone. The issue here is these plastics aren't really ABS so even acetone won't even etch it. I haven't bought the plastic weld just yet but that's more than likely the route I'm going to have to take. I bought the plastic weld I should have it soon then I'll hopefully be able to fix this.

Ah I see now, that one I found is basically like one of those model shop superglues, whereas the one you guys are talking about is more like an epoxy hmm decisions, decisions.

yeah ebay but it has been quite a while ago now. I figured the 60 was fine at the time but still want to try to fix that piece that bonding kit looks like possibly the way to go because it has plastic etch but I understand, too, that this plastic quite possibly can't be etched and bonded like other plastics can be. With little surface area, it's kinda difficult to find an adequate solution.
