Well, there were a few weathered GNU's given out as gifts at some thing recently. I believe Save had one. And it's petty much the age of Yamato at the moment. Saw loads of display pieces for the upcoming Moto-slaves, GNU's today. Everything is LOOKING damn good.

I'm still hoping that we see a LV ver.1 in the future of this line.

I was actually hoping for some more accessories. It would be kind of cool to get a tin y Minmey for Hikky to hold. Hey, even a crushed Roy 1S skull for a laugh.

Well, I got a set of free FPs so i'd rather wait for the stand-alone 1A but I guess i'll get it anyway.

Well i'll certainly be checking tomorrow. The 1A is the one I really want. Looks like i'll have extra FPs then.

I know that the 1S is out on the 1st (i'm gonna camp outside the store over night ). The Guys at Sakuraya (Japanese electronics store) told me they'd have it for 6000en. Can't be right. Is this news of a July 29th release for the 1A correct?

Overall, the QC on the quality of this line seems pretty damn good. Looking forward to getting my replacement on Friday.

I wasn't totally surprised that no one else said anything to him. Maybe he was their superior at work or something Funny to hear of the opinions of the REAL old-timers. They were mostly positive of Frontier, but they were petty much "old-school".

I guess so I know the wife of one of the guys who went so he got us all together. One of the guys kept asking me to say "Dekulcha" and acting like a happy freak when I did. He wouldn't talk to me except when asking me to say that word. Moron. Other guys were cool though.

The Fast-pack set sold out in Japan almost immediately. Haven't found one anywhere. The stand-alone VF-1 is out in a few days. It WAS looking like I would have to wait for the stand-alone FP sets to come out to have the full set but last night I met a few Japanese Mac fans (in their 50's) and I got a set of the FPs (minus the strike cannon ) for free.

Ok. So mine came without the head and the t-bar totally jammed in the fuselage. Gently pulling it out caused the hinges on the door to just crumble away. Seems the T-bar is sticking for a lot of people though.

Took me like 20 minutes before I noticed this too. And what is with the BROWN windows on SS and Prowl?! The one thing that eally gets to me is that Prowl has brown shins. Hm. Prowl+Sunstreaker. StreakerProwl. Ew.

I just feel bad for Convoy ans his "trade-down". Speaking of Prowl, i'm actually a little disappointed with him. Something just feels......awkward. BTW, has it already been mentioned that SS's engine can fold and clip over his gun to create an alternate BFG?

Ok, well, at least I can get another one in a week. But When are the stand-alone FP sets coming out? I can live without them but still.......

I should wait for the Henkei versions that will soon come out over here but I buckled and got Prowl and Sunstreaker today. Is it just me or do these feel more like BTs than Classics ? Prowl is the one I most want to like but Sunstreaker really shines. ha ha These guys have actually made me a little more hopeful for the Alternity line. The BT vibe really works at this scale. I saw the pics of the Henkei Prwol and Streaker today. The magazine actually shows off how well the plastic and yellow painted parts match on the Japanese version. It was almost mocking. That kind of pisses me off. Why can Henkei do this and yet Hasbro's are really mismatched. .

GAH! That's what happened to mine. The bar just wouldn't come out. As gentle as I was, the door just broke off and the hinges crumbled.

Damn. Went to get an exchange today and they are sold out EVERYWHERE. Got a refund and went to look for another in Nakano, Akiba, Shinjuku, Shibuya.........nadda. So now I have no valk and a burning pocketful of En with nothing to do. Wonder what Big Bertha is doing tonight.

Would have been nice if they had redesigned the strap. Adds a little bit of extra detail to the whole toy. Shoulders seem fine to me. And to be honest, I can't figure out how the door was being stressed or why the hip bars kept getting stuck in the nose-cone. Sorry. And the sheen that they have given the canopy is really quite nice in the flesh. Catches the light perfectly.

Won't get the chance to get to Akiba until Friday. To be honest, I think I over-reacted yesterday. With only three problems total with this line, I might just be happy with a replacement. I love the vf-1 and I was never quite happy with the 1/48. And the 1/60 IS a great toy in all other respects. Flip-flop. BTW, why no gun-strap? Mine has the holes but no strap.
