Y'know, something I kind of missed from Torchwood was any allusion to the fact that they were supported by the crown. Unless I missed something in an earlier episode, you never get the feeling that the Queen is looking over their shoulders.

It wouldn't be so bad if it was a less "ewww" title. "Half Age girls" just immediatley sets those alarm bells ringing.

Ok.....I DID read that thread title correctly. W.......T........F!?

Once visited the filming location used in the original series (since i'm a native Welsh boyo). It was pretty creepy because there are some pretty hard-core fans who live the show. Everywhere we went you'd be greeted with people of all ages in cloaks saying "be seeing you". I remeber a well-known Brirish comedy (Maybe 'Only Fools and Horses") in which a previously Trek obsessed guy becomes a Prisoner fanatic and pays his friends to trap the main characters of the show on the island in the Prisoner scenario. Maybe Graham can remember which show that was on. Damn funny hom age to the show.

Gar! Every single news-agent in my area has sold out of the new edition of Mac Ace. One store owner even told me that one guy cleared him of his entire stock! OH-TAH-KUUUUUUUUUUUU! Meh. Wasn't ganna buy it anyway. Just wanted to flip through it.

I was thinking about a potential twist to the end of CoE: Just a thought. Also, my browser simply shuts down when i try to link to the potential cast photo. Could someone just list the names in spoiler tags? Cheers.

I really like how small Yamato have gone with the box for the "strum and vocal". I almost passed over it on the shelf at Bic Camera it was so unlike the previous box. Took em long enough but they finally learned their lesson.

I don't know if has already been mentioned on this thread, but the legs on HA BB were assembled the wrong way around. It takes just a couple of minutes with a screwdriver.

I actually felt that the Humans and Bots had far more even focus in the story telling than the first movie. -

One problem is that Bay cut the fight scenes way too close to the camera. In the forest fight, there were some beautiful, wide angle shots of Prime being, well, not Prime, but really showing off his fighting skills. We need more of that for the next movie. -

I really didn't like the whole set-up of the "Only a Prime can kill the Fallen!". plot device. Yes......if he also happens to be wearing the dead corpse of some geriatric ex-Decepticon. Only THEN can a Prime kill the Fallen! Bleh. Also, the lack of Energon. Jetfire is literally falling apart from a lack of it. What about the other bots? -

I thought he sounded even MORE effeminate than G1 SS! Speaking of which......Megatron's line just shows the special "relationship" that these two guys have. -

Something that was terribly rushed was the final fight between Prime and The Fallan. It felt like edited highlights.....without the highlights. I was really expecting them to utilise the Fallen's teleporting/telekinesis and Prime's new Fastpacks to have some cool, aeriel battle. Missed opportunity. -

I preferred the voice they used for SW in the movie. And what better way to show respect to Frank Welker as an actor than to NOT completely mix up his voice with a computer, but to let him show off his pure awesomeness at doing voices. Either way, I felt a good wave of nostalgia hearing that voice. And damn was it cold and calculating. Just right for SW. -
I also knew Casey (through Renato) but didn't spend nearly as much time with him as Renato did. I don't have any really funny anecdotes, but back in 2007, when I was going through some things, I used Casey as a cheap alternative to a therapist. Had a really good, long chat with the guy, talking about my problems, his similar experiences in his youth etc. Pretty awesome guy to talk to. He was like the progeny of John Lennon and Jesus. But cooler.

But the Arcee sisters' combination was cut from the movie. It's only going to feature in the toys. And I keep hearing that Soundwave does not have the G1 face as his visor is missing. Not that -
I really want to say that this is from the jacket of a guide book that I recently saw in Mandarake. I'm reasonably sure that it is.

I think it might have been me that recommended you to post over here. Welcome. That is such a nice repaint. Definitely gonna be commisioning one of these from someone.

Did anyone go to the Midnight TF event in Toys'R'US in Japan last year, or going to the one tonight? I decided not to go to the one last year but might go to the Ikebukuro one this evening. If anyone did go to last year's, what were the numbers like? Don't really want to go if it's going to be packed.

ORGUSS-MIC news. Really looking forward to this one. Unlike Renato, I will be snapping up both versions of this guy, should the Jimmy Olsen custom be made. I'm also hoping for a considerable armament. Less so for the hollw, cheap feel of the Mospeada line.

I wonder if the figure will include a foldable Sheryl concert poster. For some reason, I quite like the image of Alto carrying that in the first ep. is the armour removeable?

Yes....it was indeed a "sperm" whale. Thar she blows? rather "GAR! He blows!!"

In many ways, D7 is a precursor to the complete fan-service fest that was Frontier. We have Mylene's near-rape, random naked scenes of a minor....and none serving the plot what-so-ever. Oh...and I just noticed your avatar. Awkwaaaaaard.
