Finally starting to play with Sci-Fi 03 a bit. I'm not a photog, but it's definitely cool. I think DX DYRL VF-1S would look great in there. Pretty sure I'm going to go with Max VF-1A in Gerwalk at the end of the month loaded with missiles until then.

Ok just switched around W02 on corners from what directions said. Worked now.

You're lucky you got it through AJ! I landed with NY on PO night, so the price is sweet but their trend seems to be more and more delayed in shipping stuff out lately haha. On the plus side, I accidentally had VF-1 missiles in my cart when I landed the PO and didn't have time to remove, so I'll have those being shipped as well. haha. Works out well because I'll have three sets of missiles to spread between 1J, 1A, and DYRL 1S for now. I should be able to get mileage out of them with three more Valks in theory if I spread them right.

The same thing happened for me on AJ when the VF-1 missiles hit. Got them for cheaper and sooner than my NY order since they charge so much for shipping

They were pretty late on getting the VF-1 missiles out if I remember correctly, and they sent out an email saying that the armor would be available starting the 23rd - so some time tomorrow in the States through the next day it's likely to see it in preparation? I wouldn't worry yet.

He used a translator and seems to have done a screenshot of it. That’s all. Translators don’t always translate well so it’s a little choppy. Anyway, @Elkan_013 Solo hablo espanol poquito pero bienvenidos! That’s all I got in Spanish.

Haha! Right?! I’m irritated that this is the only card I have with no foreign transaction fees just by happenstance. I travel internationally more often now and it’s just a bloody gamble. I literally only use it for Manda and carrying over seas on the rare occasion I can use it.

Hehe...yeah I have a Discover card I use for Manda, but like AJ doesn’t take it for example. Anyway, probably more of a finance discussion, but I’m not opening a another line of credit just to collect. Between my Discover and PayPal credit, or sucking up the foreign trans fee on the others, it’s fine. Just clarifying options re:Nippon. I digress. In general, Nippon inflates both shipping and currency exchange. Aside from knowing that, they’ve done me good.

For reference on this: If you happen to have PayPal credit, the only way to leverage the free 6 mos with no interest is to pay in USD. That being said, while you’ll not pay interest, you’ll pay the inflated currency exchange. So, if you really want to micromanage the cost, you have to calculate the interest in the amount of time you plan to pay it off versus the inflated exchange you’ll pay. Splitting hairs but some people like to drill down into stuff like this so it’s worth mentioning. Like for me, I have to pay an International exchange fee on my AMEX and Visa so I’m paying someone something anyway. Ha.

The VF-1S and Parts haven’t released yet. So there is still a chance to purchase both in a pre-order. The wave of orders available for parts at this point will release in April 2020. You missed the window for Dec. However, the VF-1S still releases in Nov. So, you can either pay an upcharge on somewhere like Nippon, or wait until it releases and gamble trying to get it then.

One of my two Sci-Fi 03's came in today. (The other one is still stuck in customs.) Box is a little beat up but contents seem ok so far. Can't wait to put together. @Saburo do you recommend I wait for the 2nd one to be delivered before I construct or will one do the trick?

I really just like the feel of the DX line in my hand. It's heftier than Yamcadia. If Bandai did a 1:60 line of the VF-1's with DX quality, I think that would be perfect for me. But, 1:48 is my option right now so I need to figure out space as well. Currently looking to grab a retail display case to better house them.

Hopefully, we’ll see at least the 1A hit release date at MSRP like we did with Chuck’s 31E. It seems like some people paid the upcharge for Chucky and then it hit the street at MSRP for a decent window of time. 1S could be same as well? Here’s to hoping... i paid the upcharge for 1S because I didn’t want to chance it but could bite me in the ass at release.

Agreed. And frankly, you might be better off watching the board here on the sales forum. I'd feel more comfortable buying used from another collector who has a good rating here. That's what I did. And I was able to get a sealed copy for almost the same price as your used one by purchasing from a member on a different board.

Haha damn enablers! Well considering I got a late start to reliving my youth with Macross in general as of less than a year ago, I thought this was a good start to the Delta crew. I need to get 31A still and TV version Messer if I really want to be legit (that’s movie Messer in the pic).

But will it be the last PO of the year??? It's been speculated before that the next one may not be until sometime between April and June. But we can hope...
