Lol! It’s actually not uncommon for retailers to receive them early and ship. Anime-export did for the Max release. But I don’t expect NY to ship until next week now that they notified prep.

Totally. The beauty of collecting. Personally, I don't like to collect for the sake of stock piling. I prefer to have a system to display them. Sounds like you're thinking the same way.

This would’ve been me had I been collecting at the Yammie stages. I just prefer the way DX feels in hand and don’t want to pay a premium to go back in time like I have for some grails in order to get Yammies. Also, DYRL is my fave so TV vermillion would only be the bonus now to get Kaki. Then of course there’s M&M. The madness never stops does it?!

Yup! You got it. And they seem to control inventory a bit better than N-Y’s model (though I did get two of my missile sets from them on the previous release).

It also looks like they’re looking at gimmicks for the VF-1 Strike parts? Maybe like KC. Also, if there is a reverse question to the customer such as “If you want a super-DX VF-1 with sound and light gimmicks coming out?”

Finally got an old retail case off of Craig’s List repainted and set up with LEDs.

Hikkie prices are finally under 30,000 Yen on AJ for Japanese residents. That's a good sign as we draw closer to release. I think I got my PO at NY for like 27,000 Yen. Hoping for those that waited, you'll get below that or even retail.

Yup, we've been discussing this since pics were posted the night before the event. The DX YF-21 has been getting more buzz on the board, but I'm personally excited for these. DYRL is on the top of my Macross list followed by Frontier. I think most of the discussion has been around the 011 Skull part because it isn't included in the Strike Parts. Thought is that Roy, Kaki, Max will be regular releases but Hikkie 1A possibly TWE bundle with parts?
