    Nice! I’ve been anti-GBP for awhile, because they’re so bulky. But, I picked up the Arcadia 1J reissue and then found this armor for a great price from an original owner. Couldn’t pass it up. And it wound up fitting perfect on my 2001 1J reissue. I’ve heard it doesn’t fit the 2008 reissue.

    Sweet! QQ: Did you just use a Tenso address? And if so, how did you get payment through? I've signed up at Arcadia but haven't tried a direct order yet. For example, I've been able to get through on P-Bandai with an account, but the payment never works since I don't have a CC issued out of Japan.

    Thanks man!! I've actually been working with ToyHax/Reprolabels to get die cut decals for OG Macross. First one is this DYRL VF-1S Strike. They came out amazing.

    THIS! Dude my life with toy collecting is the impatience factor. I pretty much only put @sqidd above me on the impatience factor but the ferry route seems to be a good idea when purchasing the "safety net" Valk.

    Nice!! I've been wanting to dive into Frontier because it's my favorite of the series next to DYRL but have just heard the Valks have so many issues. I really hope the recent YF-29 release brings about another set of Frontier reissues (without delaying the VF-1 releases haha).

    Yeah I'd love that. Next to the VF-1 (& VF-0), the Frontier Valks are my favorite. I started collecting late in the game so I was warned to stay away from basically the Frontier line and renewals. I'm excited to get the YF-29 Alto. Just hoping that these re-releases don't stall the VF-1 series.

    There are minor differences between the TV Roy 1S and DYRL Roy 1S. How did you have the artist attack it? I'd only offer the pilot that matches the correct paint scheme IMO.

    Here's a fun haul! I love collecting two things: Macross toys and Vinyl. I was on an online FB auction a couple of weeks ago for a record store out of VA buying up some vinyl. They had a haul imported from Japan for all these popular releases (the Beatles, Prince, Queen, etc.) and low and behold this beauty pops up. Near Mint condition original pressing. Only two other people actually knew what it was and bid against me until I won. The shop didn't even know what it was and kept pronouncing "Macross" wrong since the rest of the text was in Japanese. Such a fun find out in the wild!! Just arrived this morn:

    Right?! I wasn't sure if I'd like it but worked with the seller on the price since it was already panel lined and wasn't sure if I'd like it. But hey, I have the reissue for that OG look so I took a chance. Turns out that I actually do like the panel lining in hand so that's cool and it's my understanding that the panel lining was done in the 80's in Japan. (Of course, who knows but I'll go with that story.)

    Thanks! It was a fun find. A bit of a gamble to take it paneled, but ended up being a good bet.

    Super stoked about this one! There are a few details of the paneling that I don't like, but once I get some repro labels for it I can remove some of the additional paint and replace with the correct decals. Overall very minor and everything is in great shape. The armor appears impeccable!
