Yuuuup! Though as mentioned, Roy didn't use Supers so he'll just stay naked for me. I think we have @sqidd to thank for buying those damn DYRL Hikarus dressed as Roy!! It's his fault. Bandai was like, oh guess we don't need to release DYRL Roy now.

Ugh...Would I be the only one to complain if I said I would've preferred DYRL Roy? I really only wanted one version of Roy and now I'll need to purchase two versions because I simply can't put the DYRL Strike on this one. But damn that special stand is nice.

Ugh...Yeah that sucks for those that purchased through NY. I did mine with HLJ and while it is like ~$40 more than NY's listing, I'll be able to get FedEx or DHL. Guess it's a tradeoff.

Anyone interested on the AE update: My missiles were delivered to Tenso so it's all good. Looking forward to @Anasazi37's update, and if he has no issues then we'll know what address format to use. Mine obviously created hiccups even though it eventually got delivered.

We just went under contract for a new build and the wifey wants me to get rid of this retail case. I said that’s fine but then I need to get one that holds this amount to replace it. So, she says get one that is vertical. I’m like cool. Hold my beer. Gonna cost us a grand. I’ll build a 1/48 DX DYRL Squad in there with this Delta likely.

It shouldn’t be that because I sent it to my Tenso addy so it’s destination is in-country. Right?! lol My thought is that the address is somehow wrong or misspelled. AE didn’t accept the kanji or katakana for me when changing addresses so I had to do it in English. Were you able to do it in Japanese @Anasazi37?

More specifically, if you purchased them together, that's your culprit. The SSPs are the delay. They weren't available till the end of April and NY doesn't split orders - they only ship once everything is in stock. Unfortunately, if you selected SAL or in a location where EMS is not delivered, then NY is simply not delivering but holding your stuff due to Japan Post suspending shipments from COVID. HA - right?!! And I'd be stupid enough to buy it.

Was just going to post this for you as well. And yes, you absolutely should contact the Chosen Prime. It totally escaped me to follow up with you because I didn't pre-pay for that order. I did the pay-later. I hit them up sometime ago, and they weren't sure if it was a glitch or not. They were clueless of the pre-order and said they would get back to me because Bluefin wasn't shipping at the time. I would ask what's up with it, and they'll totally refund you if it's bogus. Edit: Btw, I would hit them up via their Facebook page if you have an account there. Much quicker response.- 8671 replies

Wellllll....good news is that the actual movie has animation errors where you see both black and red heat shields between scenes with Hikaru's 1S. Annnnd the 1/55 Strike originally came with the black one. So, I say whatever you want is accurate? haha

Welcome to the party! Manda is a best kept secret outside of the MW'ers here it would seem. I remember my first purchase from them fondly - receiving it and thinking "this is a heavily damaged package??"

Ditto! It sucks to have to be in this situation to ship to a tenso address and essentially pay more. But, agreed - I selected my Tenso addy to deal with more reasonable people. They pack things amazingly, and they are responsive. Plus, DHL shouldn't be too bad because these are small boxes, and I only purchased two for this round.

Agreed completely! I actually missed the announcement that they'd offer the upgraded shipping at no charge, so I appreciate your post alerting me. (Though, they had mentioned to me in a message that they would ship DHL if needed, and I assumed the same.) So, we'll see what happens, and that would certainly dictate my response.

I wondered about that and will ask about it when the time comes if needed. But for example, my YF-29 preorder with them was actually less expensive to do DHL than it was to do EMS by like a couple bucks. My VF-1A should be relatively the same. It may not cost anything extra at all. So, until they send me an invoice for more money or update me, I won't worry about it yet. Now, if they pull what NY did and say it's $33 extra on top of the $42 I already spent, I'll complain and do something about it. My love for a shop is as fluid as "what-have-you-done-for-me-lately".
