    Thanks gang! I’m debating adding my minty Matchbox SDF-1 but I really like where it’s currently at. @nightmareB4macross I got really lucky. There is a super cool dude out of Chile that I met on an FB group. He’s moving to Europe and needed to consolidate much of his collection. I actually picked up VT and VE from him.

    I looked back at my history and got all of mine for under $200 before shipped (including Supers but excluding Max 1J which was just over $200).

    Yup! What the others said above. Generally, the reissues are anywhere from $100-$200. I got all of my reissues for less than $200 if memory serves correct. And reissues have mostly tampo with only a few stickers to apply if wanted. The 2008 reissues (Origin of Valkyrie) have Gray tint to the plastic so you worry less about yellowing. You can see it in my pic above.

    Since this is the only all-inclusive scale for Valks thread that I’m aware of, just want to give anyone interested one last chance at the 1/55 VE-1 Elint Seeker I have for sale. I’m about to separate the contents into smaller lots and sell that way. But I hate to break it up when someone could own it complete.

    *Raises hand* Exactly. I really appreciate the value of what you, @Lolicon and others do with customizing, but it's like art that I understand but can't personally create. So, the 0D is a thing of beauty for me that I could never have outside of commissioning the work anyway.

    Absolutely! In some ways, the Hikkie DYRL 1S was harder than Roy (in other ways, Roy was more difficult). I didn't score Hikaru on PO night but did score him around release for MSRP at HobbySearch. The blessing and curse of when release day approaches is that you just don't know when something will be available. It's good because you aren't competing with as many people all bottlenecking at the same time. It's bad because you have no idea when something is made available so it's a bit of luck. Two things happen: People (likely scalpers) begin to offload POs around release day from sites that don't require upfront payment if they haven't sold their marked-up inventory Shops often have a little extra stock they sell on release day

    I don't think the Kakizakis are a good measure since they're TWEs and were available to preorder much longer than normal POs (though substantially quicker than past TWEs at most shops). Just my two cents. Sadly, you'll probably see the Roy 1S hit 1J prices after some time passes from initial release (you'll have a chance to score at MSRP on release).
