Yeah. Never again. Most valks that I would want I can be reasonably assured they won’t like triple on the aftermarket. If it was anything else I wouldn’t have gone through this

There are really two options. They split their stock into increasing batch sizes and are trying to suss out the highest they can get away with based on how fast it goes, or they are just planning to buy as much secondary market stock as they can on release day to fill orders. Probably number 2

First preorder hell and ngl it’s all it’s taken to change me to ‘I’m just gonna buy any other valks on Mandy or Jungle where I’ve gotten my others’. I’m done with this stress. Not worth it. I’ve dealt with a lot of figure preorder bullshit but this is stupid.

Yeah. With that length of PayPal protection should be zero risk here. Only way I can get screwed is price difference from when they start showing up on Mandy and when they decide to give me a cancellation. If they try to frakk around I’ll just PayPal dispute

Man. I’m starting to regret ordering from them. Saw it and quickly pulled the trigger. Should have just waited and took my chances with mandy. knew they weren’t good because of my past experience but didn’t count on not getting it at all

Have people here had that experience with valks? Sorry thread moves really fast. Only experience I’ve had is them jacking up shipping on a TWE after it came out for my order. What’s the word on shipping times? Do they leave you hanging or is it at least a fast cancellation

I assume those of us marked up are pretty safe? Cancel the lower priced ones and screw over those people seems like the scummy way to go

I wouldn't let this scare you that much. I honestly believe it was a fault in the metal and not a design fault as I've never seen this failure reported. Still thought it was best to let the community know just in case.

Given I bought it used I don't expect any help from bandai, but I sent them an inquiry regardless. It seems like very obviously a manufacturing defect to me so you never know. Maybe they'll take pity. Haha.

It actually holds together very well in fighter mode thankfully, so there's that.

Here's the failure as seen coming out of fighter mode. The failure itself happened coming from battroid to fighter. I put basically no pressure on that piece as I've transformed it several times and all the joints had loosened up nicely. I had already collapsed the spine and I was lining up stuff at the top of the torso when it just kind of fell apart.
