Here is the almost finished model with the base completed. Missing only 2 lines of missiles on either side.

Beginning missiles preparations. 28 like theses. Cutting, liming one by one. After that paint and add burst effect. Maybe one more month of work. The wire is orthodontist wire of 0.05mm diameter.

The model is finished. Now for the dioram gonna buy the dentist wire to fix the missiles and some optic fiber that iluminate the missile burst. After that I’ll move the battery to the inner part of the chest.

All parts painted. Missing the Matt finished at some parts. Need to buy more. next step is to make the missiles from the chest been fired

Legs are finished and assembled.

Thanks for the tip. If I would set just the model it would be a great idea, but I’ll place it at this base with two explosions effects and also simulate the missiles been launched by the chest.

Hi Gatsu. It is an interesting idea. I haven’t thought about it. Would be required a lot of cutting and at the moment I can’t see a practical way to do it, in special for the legs.

Hi guys, I bumped into this forum and liked the topics exclusively dedicated to Macross. I’m building a VF-0 droid of Roy Focker with reactive armored set. Already set light to the head and will place it on a base launching missiles from the chest and with two blasts at a base. Current status at the pictures added
