  3. Well, I liked. Probably will end a cycle to start another. Children grow up and pass their toys. That’s what it appear to be the main scope.
  4. Thanks a lot BIG!
  5. I also added markings in the “sand” to appear wet. Used a bright automotive varnish.
  6. Sure. Here it is.
  7. I use only automotive paints. They give you infinite options of colors. The problem is the need for mask with a good filter and the smell.
  8. I did some small but relevant changes for the water. A friend from Brazil remembered me that I forgot to add some white details. small things that matters
  9. Amazing!!! Fantastic job!! Thanks Bolt
  10. Thank you guys!! This is the first time ever that I risk to do water effects. Maybe I should have added more green and made a sort of pattern of waves.
  11. Thank you guys!! This is my first ever attempt to create water effect. maybe I should’ve added more green and create a pattern of waves. I used the AK Atlantic water gel, which is very blue.
  12. Hello guys, I was off from the forum (building other stuffs). Now I`m near finishing an diorama of a Zetradi commander POD that have been destroyed and abandoned on earth on a cost of Japan. There are two things missing to finish. Spray some yellow spots randomly to sign for paint sun burn and add some musgos. Battle damage to the head with lots of spilled oil. Damages made with a hot soldering iron and oil leakage with painel line. Battle damage to the legs made in the same way, but more aggressive. Full view of the model with the corrosion on the legs been more aggressive. Used and ordinary ponder mixed with water. Generated it by liming a kit painting stick. And here is the model in the near finished stage. Used AK water gel. I believe it will be finished next week. What you guys think about it? Regards
  13. I don’t see a problem there. There are tons of Star Wars toys.
  14. Jesus!! Never would imagine companies trying to make a case for this things! I kindly accept the gift
  15. This was maybe one of the most difficult painting I’ve done. Was good for the learning.
  16. Model finished. In the an accident happened. While applying the shiny finish on decal reacted in a way that I have never seen and when I tried to fix it, I made things worse
  17. Congrats!!! Amazing work!! I loved the details on the pilots!!
  18. Hi guys. After a long break due to work travel, I’m back to work. The main painting of the body is finished. The legs/turbines are near 50% done.
  19. It needs a special primer to use polyester paints and used equipment to protect the nose (smell bad). But it gives a much wider options of colors and mixes at very low prices. With kids and pets in the house is necessary to have an isolated space.
  20. Hi, not acrylic. This type in Brazil is very expensive. I use Polyester paints. Same type used to paint real autos.
  21. Hi Chris. This effect is of light only. This is a DuPont Blue color. The camaleon color exists. But I haven’t used it yet. My wife wants me to to build a Gundam with a green camaleon color.
  22. My new model in progress is the 25th anniversary edition of the YF-19 I decided not to use the decals. Gonna paint all the lines. Here is how it is going To get the right gold tone had to do this sequence of painting: 1-black 2-Poliester ultra shine finish 3-Chrome 4-special gold for Macross (made by Drycolor) Drycolor is a Brazilian brand of Poliéster paint. They create whatever color you need.
  23. The model is finished Just waiting for a SMD switch to arrive so I can solder the wires, fix the smd and seal the kit.
  24. Hi, I watched the “missile overkill” part in macross zero to check the missiles. They don’t have the regular missile section in the back. To scratch them would be very hard indeed. Regarding the head light, the cell is adding more bright than the normal. For the thrusters no light. Tried to add light to the green and red beacons in the back, but couldn’t find a way to pass the wires and leds.
