For figures that have a a lot of extra pieces/accessories I like to store them in those tackle box type boxes to keep them organized.

Weird question but do you guys always insert a pilot into your figures that have/require one, not just for these figures but any toy? For instance, I have some construction lego vehicles at my desk at work and I don't put in a minifig nor plan to put in a pilot for the VFs. For me personally, I just like the machine/mechanical side of things if that makes any sense and I've seen a lot of talk about pilot size, etc.

Regarding the 1J, this may seem like a no brainer but check the sales thread here first since I've seen a few listings that are cheaper than the $35k yen prices that pop up on Mandarake after shipping. Didn't see many when I picked mine up from Mandarake for $370 shipped.

Sigh, missed again and I was actually up 30 min prior to that. Good for nothing jet-lag. Congrats to the other member! That painted cockpit is really nice.

Samesies, I think one and done. Debating on calling it a day w/ the 1S I picked up off eBay along with my incoming missiles and SSP PO and selling the 1J i recently acquired.

All is good now, maybe the site was glitching earlier but I was finally able to check out. Hopefully the condition of the rest of the figure is good! I managed to scoop it up. Anyone know of a decent rotating display? Thanks for the recs on the ones that prop the figure up, think I'm going with the flightpose ones.

Same here, looking for a stand that would display it nicely in fighter mode thats not too obtrusive.

Thanks for that. I do prefer how the skull looks and how the 1S head's visor and dual antenna look. Kinda helps me decide on which figure to settle on moving forward with this line. Definitely not a line I can complete.
