  1. Someone correct me if I'm wrong... I believe KC is only licensed by Harmony Gold. If they were licensed by Big West they would have the following 2 stickers on the box. If I recall correctly , Kitz Concept started out as a KO brand. They eventually managed to secure a Harmony Gold license and released under the Robotech brand. That being said, they seem to make the best Robotech branded stuff so far. If I weren't so limited in space, I would consider picking up a few items from them.
  2. It has yet to manifest itself in my private warehouse.
  3. Thanks for the reminder! I need to get on my HLJ account!
  4. I would think that Ozma would come with the armored set as he was depicted deploying with it more times than not. It was pretty much his standard load out.
  5. I don't know about anyone else, but I've never gotten an Arcadia Valkyrie in a sealed box. That's not counting the bubble wrap and shipping box. You can easily work the tab out of the flap without any noticable damage to the cardboard. Can you really prove MISB? No one is going to know, so its all good!
  6. It's totally the white landing gears isn't it? Totally changes how they look!
  7. Well I got my KO Arcadia Hikaru VF-1S from ebay a few days ago. No premium finish. My finger tips hurt. While the wings and backpack flap are a tad looser than I would like, they are fine. The cockpit slide feels similar to Arcadia's. Everything else feels anywhere from a tad bit too tight to overly tight. The shoulders feel like they are close to snapping off if I move them too quickly. I use very slow deliberate movements. Even then, there be a lot of creaking noises that make me feel uncomfortable. The rear landing gears are difficult to extract with out my spudger. The tail fins are super stiff, but not as much as the shoulders are. The thigh and bicep pivot posts seem a tad larger than they should be and cause the bicep and upper thigh to have gaps that cannot close entirely. I initially thought that there was some plastic flash in there and took it apart to clean out, but they seem to fit together perfectly when not attached to anything. The worse offender is the gun-pod collapsible grip. I cannot pull it out by hand. I need to use pliers and a fat wad of napkins to yank it out. I've done this twice so far and I'm hoping that is has loosened enough to be done by hand, but as I have said earlier.... My finger tips hurt... Aside for all that, my copy seem to lock together pretty well. Almost as tight as the Arcadia. Well worth the $85 American I paid. Totally going to be a cubical toy. Now I just need to wait for the price of the super pack to drop. I really don't feel like paying the current $63 for it. I may bite at $50. Definitely will closer to $40.
  8. Dr. Quiet Cat PhD. Cat Hoarding... Err... Valkyrie Collecting is not considered problematic unless it begins to interfere with normal everyday functions. If it is not effecting your hygiene, work, social or family life it is not considered a problem.

Nice! Thanks guys. Now I just need to keep an eye out for a re-release or a used one at a decent price. At least it's a "nice to have" item and not a "need it".

Anyone know if Tamashii Effect Explosion work well with HMR? Are they too big? Are they even worth getting if they ever get re-released for 1980 yen again?

I don't think I have ever been able to find a Tamashii Stage Act Trident or Trident Plus stand for a decent price (less then $20 US). I'm not paying $40+ for one. Here's a link to a 3 pack of Stage Act 5 on Amazon.com for $25. There is a 2 pack for $21.98, but you know... TAMASHII NATIONS Bandai Act.5 for Mechanics Clear Action Figure The 2 pack was $9.99 back in 2019 and the 3 pack was $10.53 back in 2017!
  12. I totally want that to be an armor set for the HMR VF-1A!
  13. I honestly have no clue how difficult it might be to get these later. Roy's VF-0S is still available form Amazon ($160 US). Most non-Macross Hi-Metal R are available with some below MSRP. The exchange rate helps.
  14. Just for reference as this will likely be available tomorrow from AmiAmi: HI-METAL R VF-0D Phoenix (Shin Kudo's Unit) "Macross Zero"(Pre-order) HI-METAL R Orguss "Super Dimension Century Orguss"(Pre-order)

Keep an eye out for the Regult Missile Type Set. It is one of the more difficult to get especially at a good price. It was a TWE item. Currently sold out at Mandarake... https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1081982862&ref=list&keyword=hi metal macross&lang=en&deviceId=1
  16. Brass rods perhaps?
  17. How do we know that they just didn't go to Mandarake to aquire stock? I glad you are getting your order finally filled, but it just makes one wonder. And yeah, you shouldn't have to inquire about your order status.
  18. I totally had the same thought. I honestly don't know if this current batch has all the tampo as the original KO release. I don't see all the "no step" in the pictures. Less then 6 days on the price and 5 left from that seller.
  19. Because it is something from Max's personal collection? MILK the MOLD! pass for me... not a big Macross Zero fan and severely space limited. seriously have to pick and choose.
