  2. But I wouldn't get half of his assets either.
  3. I'd feel bad, like I'm breaking a commitment.
  4. I may end up regretting this, but I'm going to wait a day or so and see if the other vendors post this. I want one, but I don't want to commit right away.
  5. Based on Tekering"s chart that would be about half the height of a HMR VF-1. Imagine making a transformation guide for that one!
  6. Did you miss an email that could have ended up in your junk mail folder?
  7. Small things are cute! Image taken form amiami!
  8. Maybe they really miss no3Ljm's Makina avatar. I know I do.

Isn't the trend to make plastics degrade and breakdown faster?
  10. Keep in mind: he is about 16 to 17 years old and Japanese. Asians are not normally full adult size at that age. It would be interesting to see if they make Roy larger.

Super was the normal load out for space ops. Correct me if i'm wrong, but only Skull Leader had the Strike variant in the movie. My assumption is that the Strike load out is only given to the squadron leaders.

The Monster was sold as a DYRL version. The Spartan and Defender were SDFM versions. Other than paint apps, was there any real differences between the TV and Movie? It would seem that the Destroids are close enough and no one really seems to care so long as they are made. Now that I think about it, I don't recall seeing a Spartan in the movie.
  13. Perhaps look for a scissors lift type of thing like the following: SEOH 6 inch(150mm) PVC Plastic Lab Jack Laboratory Hardware Support
  14. I ask myself this every time someone talks about a waist joint.
  15. What if it's like this:
  16. Like this one? Rare (very) valkyrie VF-1S robotech Lansay
  17. If it is a T-REX design (at least I suspect it is), why not!
  18. I played with this guy hard in my youth. I broke the right index finger and lost the antenna and heat shield somewhere along the way. The sticker sheet was destroyed when it was boxed in the factory. I'm afraid to transform it into fighter mode for fear of snapping off the backpack or tail fins. I've thought about whitening it, but I think I'll leave it as is. It may not survive disassembly. I'll think of it as "patina."
  19. Initially I thought you were messing with tekering since he got asked that before. Anyways, the short, short background: Way back in the 1980s, Hasbro wanted to sell some transforming robot toys from Japan. These were largely from the Diaclone series of toys. The toys came in 3 flavors: 1:1 scale everyday items that turned into robots, small cars that turned into robots and larger cars that turned into robots. They hired Marvel to help market the toys. Marvel made a comic book series and that led to a TV cartoon series both called "Transformers."
  20. I don't believe so. Bandai seems to have gone with a Arcadia style hard point for the 1/48. I'm not too sure if it would look right even if someone came up with a low-profile adapter.
  21. According to the Arcadia website the 35th anniversary VF-1J is delayed until January.
  22. If you're bold, I say hydraulics and engine detail. Because there has to be an engine in there somewhere! I can't wait to see how you decide to finish this!
