The folded antenna hinge hints at the size this thing is going to be. On the smaller side it appears.

Robotech wasn't about a race of an ancient sentient alien plants called "Protoculture" that were being burned as fuel?

I would think that it would be disassembled by the transporters or replicators and stored as raw materials for whatever is replicated next. Last night's dinner can be today's lunch, your new pillow, or the replacement hull plate.

For me, if you can transport people without any side effects, there is very little you cannot do. Why can you not transport up a dead crewman, rebuild then in the buffer from the image made when they transported down and essentially bring them back to life. There should be nothing you cannot reproduce provided it can fit in a transporter.

Lack of display space aside, I wonder how much shipping will be. I also wonder what shipping insurance will cover. That's going to be a extremely large heavy box!

There are some people that believe that heat is the major contributor to yellowing plastic. From basic chemistry classes, heat does accelerate several chemical reactions. In the case of my HCM VF-1J, I believe that to be the major source of it's yellowing. I kept it in the closet and the closet got hot in the afternoon.

This discussion is making me think that since Reflex Point is in Canada, the human looking Inbit should be based on the local population. It's got me thinking Strange Brew.

Most of my VF-1 are normal releases they're more anime accurate and all. I'm all for proper aircraft markings, but I would think Valkyries based on OverTechnology, that can do a tuck and roll without damage, really shouldn't have "NO STEP" all over them. That being said, PF sure are pretty. It was a tough decision to pass on them. PF only releases resolve that dilemma for me.

If its only going to be a PF release, then wouldn't that make it the standard version?

Would it be fair to say that the majority of Tatsunoko's talent left with Production I.G when they split off?

Based on Hiryu's experience, I do wonder if vapors from SC40 alone is enough to remove yellowing without the need to apply it directly to the item. That would reduce or eliminate the need to perform any type of risky disassembly. Some interesting videos on the topic: Adventures in Retrobrite - New techniques for restoring yellowed plastic! Retrobrighting with just Sun? This forum says yes

Tamashii Nation 2019 is October 25 to 27 I believe. https://tamashii.jp/special/tamashii_nation/?wovn=en

I thought this was settled way back in October. And the armor parts do not fit the KOs. If anything they made most of their molds off of the Yamato Assembly Kits.

Your wish has been answered! Max and Milia are available for pre-order! I'm not sure why as you can still get those for retail. But they are about $130 American. Not the variants you were looking for I'm guessing.

I never really thought about it, but that is entirely the wrong SDF-1 on those VHS covers.

China devalues their Yuan. I wonder if we will see a price drop on these. So far nothing. If the price drops low enough, I may pick one up to abuse at work. The supers are no sale though.

I've never seen you so careful with a toy in a review ever. That said a lot. I'm still undecided on picking up one of Sentinel's upcoming new version. It promises to be the best but I'm expecting the price will be north of 30,000 yen.

I would imagine that that is the way of the world. Robotech has little new content and has difficulty growing its fan base. Macross has new content and is able to grow it's fan base. That being said, the average anime fan may not have easy access to Macross outside of Japan. MW members excluded of course.

Mari Ijima has been dragged into the Vic Mignona mess
DewPoint replied to kajnrig's topic in Movies and TV Series
I generally do not watch dubbed anime, so I don't know who most of these people are. Unless you were directly involved with one or more of these alleged incidents or know someone personally who was, all we can do is speculate. Any accusation of sexual harassment and sexual assault should be taken very seriously until it is proven or dis-proven. As far as sexual harassment goes, it is sexual harassment based on how the woman (or man) feels abut the encounter. If the interaction, with a sexual nature, was unwanted, unwelcome, made them feel uncomfortable or disgusted, then it IS sexual harassment. Will people lie about sexual harassment or sexual assault for revenge or out of hate? Sure. That's why we have a legal process to try to sort these things out. The bottom line is that we have far too many traumatized women (and men) in this world; we DON'T need any more. I personally know three women that have been victims of sexual assault and/or abuse. They are a mess. They have an extremely difficult time trusting anyone as well as a multitude or other issues from their experience. -
Why'd you have to go there? Strapping seats to mines does NOT make them a bomber. That being said, I totally agree with you.
