  1. Though, I am not sure how or why an "energy being" would "build" their own proprietary ships as one would expect them not to require these devices and thus one has to question how they would know how to build such craft. One of the many puzzles of M7, I suppose. The ships seen in M7 were not SA ships, they appear to have been modified versions of ships from the Megaroad 13 fleet. This would follow with the apparently modified fighter craft.
  2. If the Varuata are any indicator, I'd suspect the SA ships would be either re-branded PD and Zentradi cruisers or modified PD & Zentradi cruisers. We have never seen a PD capital ship so we have no idea what they look like.
  3. There may be a link, but the PD mind control seemed more sophisticated than the affects of the Var.
  4. The operative word is "So Far..." When Delta begins to air, we'll get a better idea at what level the Windarians are at compared to humanity. As for Earth's relation to government, it appears much like how New York is the seat of the current United Nations, just a capitol center. However, the NUNG has Federal Armed Forces, unlike our current UN. Though it is very unlikely the Federal forces would outnumber the combined fleets of all the member states. I like to believe the NUNS has become a Federation of autonomous member states (planets / fleets) unlike how it was during the first 50 years of it's existence. During M7, none of the emigrations fleets had a civilian president who had authority to launch nukes. By 2059, MF's President Glass had such authority, but as all good leaders was reluctant to use it.
  5. If your theory pans out, it may be a high concentration of fold quartz in the soil of Windermere that gets into the meat of the apples and those who ingest this prolific export are susceptible to the "virus".
  6. What about Mirage simply being the 8th Jenius daughter? The events of delta take place 20 years after M7, so unless she is the daughter of a single parent Jenius girl, it may be the only other explanation for the surname. Unless we want to get into M&M adopting another orphan girl...
  7. When you watch it more than once, the jumble makes sense and you do see the groupings. VF5SS has a good point, if this aired and the second episode aired the next week, I'm sure no one would be making the comment about the number of characters introduced.
  8. Unfortunately you are right. If the story doesn't support battle destroids then there is no need to design them. Even a Marine unit would have Cheyennes as they are a flexible destroid platform.
  9. I still want to see a NUNS marine squad with next gen destroids that are at least another design other than the Cheyenne. It may be a pipe dream, but it's my pipe dream...
  10. My first impression of the Regult-Rhea, after I got over the "How Cool!" reaction, was more along the lines of cannibalizing two incomplete units to make a one. There were not enough parts to make up either complete unit, but they had parts to build a hybrid, so they did. Perhaps they ran across a cache of spare parts for each type but there was not enough to build a full unit so the Regult-Rhea was the result. Either way, it is a cool new unit, utilizing existing parts! The clever part, from a production perspective, is they created new Zentradi units without having to ask Miyataki to create new designs.
  11. When thinking about "laminated" materials, consider plywood. This is a material made through a laminating process. It has greater strength than natural lumber of similar size due to the process. Now couple that with energy activated elements or laminate materials that increase a materials strength and you get the idea.
  12. Excellent work! How about the NUNS insignia?
  13. It would be cool if they were the descendants of the original Anima-Spiritia soldiers from the PD War.... They naturally produce fold quartz type crystals that develop at the tips of certain hair strands. That would make for an interesting race! We'll have none of that here...
  14. I wonder if the glow is some sort of limited type of ECA built into the speculated suits. I've noticed since MF, all VF's had this outer glow and I've always attributed it to active ECA (Granted it was more likely a way, production wise, to ensure the planes were seen against a black background at all times).
  15. Interesting observations as always expected March Along Cassidy. However the setting is in the other armpit of our galaxy. You know the opposite side to ours Well, more accurately one of the spiral arms of the milky way. So we know that there at least 3 systems in the vicinity of each other, so far.
  16. Yeah, Internment camps and the like. That has worked so very well for humanity, historically... Human purity it the most important thing, all other races are inferior... <Smell that? That's sarcasm>
