When one considers Megumi most likely grew up with much more English in her home than May'n, it would be much easier to pronounce words she recognizes as opposed to May'n. It would be like me trying to sing a j-pop song. The words I recognize would be close, but I know I'd be butchering the majority of the Japanese pronounciations...

The interface takes a little bit to get used to (as with all software), but it converts just about any format and allows limited customized menu screens, allows you to adjust for TV overscan, etc... and it isn't the resource hog Nero Vision is. Well the Macross 25 could be a block 5 version of the carrier with various upgrades, although without a close up shot of the ship not much can be gathered from Marchomatic's image enhancement.

The compendium lists the Macross 1 as the only city ship to sail without a shell dome, it seems these ships do not yet have them installed

I'm trying to figure out what that glow is coming from at it's bow. Is that an integrated Macross cannon or something else? The discs look like they could be windows to the few portions of the ship that have external windows for the occupants.

I was wondering if its some sort of second or third generation of the Megaroad class or a derivative therof. Maybe for maximum cheese it will transform into some uber battleship that will require both the Quarter and the Battle 25 to take it out...

If the cloning angle does indeed turn out to be correct , then the link to Mao Nome could simply be that she created the clone and gave it her surname. Possibly Sheryl was supposed to receive the virus and Ranka was inadvertantly infected instead, then the Vajra attacked before the Sheryl experiment could be completed. Grace, if she was in on it, may yet still be trying to infect Sheryl, but the virus has a different affect on adolescents compared to pre-pubescent children.

When thinking about Grace, I have two schools of thought. 1. She's indeed and AI created on Galaxy (where it's been established that all the rules of regular colony fleets don't apply) ala Sharon Apple and uses android bodies. Possibly her motivation is to pit humanity against the Vajra in hopes of wiping it out so that what happened to Sharon never happens to her. It seems in Japan (or with Kawamori) AI's are the technological boogeyman, whereas in North America its robots. 2. Kawamori is making another tie in to Macross 7, in that Grace's android form contains the Spiritia of the original Grace and androids are Galaxy's (or even Brila's) experimentation with immortality through technology. The pitting of Frontier against the Vajra is a way of testing out their full capabilities against human tech. With the ultimate goal of an alliance with them to control the galactic colonies. All speculations of course, but I am eager to find out the answers...
