  1. Lolz, I did have 1/60 but sold those in favor of the larger size. I can't go down that rabbit hole and honestly I much prefer the cartoon vs the movie. Another reason why I sold the sdf-1 PF as well. He does look great and I'm glad for those picking him up. I'll wait for more toon vf1s to be announced.
  2. It does look sweet! If I wasnt only collecting the cartoon versions this guy would be purchased asap. Waiting for more cartoon announcements and my 1A to arrive - it's in SF, I'm guessing I'll get it Monday
  3. Mp44s knees are a non issue. Mine arrived fine then one went and the other followed shortly after. Call it QC or user error. He poses the same since it's still a friction joint when the knees go. Did the knee fix and hes better than new. Solid figure, I cant put him down. There is something very special about him (to me). Everything you purchase in life will hold risk and not be 100% perfect. My house, car, camera, lenses, etc., all cost well more than MP44 and they are not perfect.
  4. Super glue will not stick in that section. You'll have to use Gorilla glue gel. I fixed both of my knees and they are solid.
  5. Both my knees are busted, but he still poses great with no issues. I think I will do the fix today. It only takes about 20 minutes. I know fixing a toy at X amount of dollars isn't ideal, but this guy is fantastic.
  6. Its MP44, an actual toy. I took a picture of it. These are edited in LR and PS, not some filter app. Lighting is key in creating that 3D feel/look I'm going for. Along with posing and post processing, etc. Here is another shot.
  7. I just meant my childhood. TF came out in 1984. So 35 years of childhood. I'm 40
  8. Appreciate it, thank you. He is 40 years of my childhood in a 11inch figure.
  9. I'd but it again for what I paid. I cant remember exactly 260-290? Do not pay 600. Max I would pay for it is 400. Again this was compared to Soc Voltron, one of the best toys ever made. Good luck
  10. Everything gets pricey once they sell out. Bought it a little after Soc V1 came out. I love it! Great paint and unique take on Voltron. Really dig the aesthetics and accessories. There are a few reviews on Ebay
  11. It's the Icaris V2 Dark Lion Voltron. Roughly same size as Soc Voltron.
  12. Netflix documentary was ok. Watch the interview Lazer does with Joe Rogan on YouTube. Way better.
  13. That is what I figured. I was messing about with these guys, but decided to just put them on the stand as it's easier to move them in my case and I have them in the exact pose I want them in. I do appreciate your response along with no3Ljm's. Thanks a bunch guys
  14. Nice shot! Curious about the poses here. Are they this way because you like them like that or to help balance out the weight and getting them to stand without the aide of a stand? I'm having a terrible difficult time in having my boys stand in the pose(s) that I like, hence the stand in my shots.
  15. Gotta find some time to get these guys into the studio versus display case shots. Hopefully when Yellows arrive =)
  16. I hear ya. But I think that in the end I can't worry about what others do. Example: If I give a homeless person some money for food they in turn buy some alcohol or drugs with it should that prevent me from giving them some funds? I mentioned this in the past, but in real truth I feel Bandai's DX Chogokin 1/48 line is way too cheap for what it is. The issue we are used to seeing/wanting that cheap PO price and once it sells out and the price goes up we second guess our purchase. This line should really start at $249-$299. Compare what we are getting versus the competition. The valks are larger, painted, tampo'd, new engineering. Yes I know we don't have missiles, but to me that is negligible. Glad that we have options on whether to pay the higher price if you missed the PO, which was impossible or wait it out until release day.
