    Could be an anomaly... maybe someone was particularly desperate for a VF-1J CF? LOL, I wonder if someone mistakenly thought the CF inflation was with trhe VF-1J rather than the VF-31A.

    Yep, somewhere in that range. TV Max consistently sells for about $400 on YJA before shipping and proxy costs.

    Shots? Needles? Nope nope nope nope... so much for that idea. Really though, as much as the money would be nice, I am not seriously considering selling my eggs. While I admit I spent way more on valkyries than I should have... by A LOT... I am kind of counting on my future self to hopefully be making a decent income once I finish my PhD in hopefully a couple of years from now. Hopefully... *gulp* *nervous look* *holds up cardboard sign* Will do frequent itemset data mining for food... and valkyrie

    Someone on YJA posted a used DX 31A for sale with a buyout price of 45,800 yen. https://buyee.jp/item/yahoo/auction/d283042081 However, the seller also has a perfect, but small, rating score. So buyer beware I suppose.

    It hurt.. it hurt a lot. But it felt so good. On the bright side, if I get really really desperate for money, I hear that healthy girls with Ivy League education and no history of drug use can make a lot of money donating their eggs. Like $5K per donation. I saw a flyer at the Student Center a few days ago saying that one could make as much as $60K a year doing monthly egg donations. That can buy A LOT of valkyries.....

    I really like the glass riser. I went with the 22" x 9.5" x 3.4" (adjustable to 4.9"). At $25 each, I thought the price was not too bad. And I really like the fact that their heights are adjustable, making it easy to fit valkyries under them, even with Super/Strike parts on. I will probably buy one or two more, when my DX YF-19 pre-orders come in.

    YAY! Package finally arrived via the world's slowest boat. Arcadia 1/60 YF-19... and the Yamato 1/60 v.2 VF-1 Armored Parts... Also got a pair of glass risers, normally used for putting computer monitors on, as additional parking space for my valkyries...

    On my monitor it looks quite a bit yellowed. If it were me, I probably would not get it as a display piece as is. If cheap enough though, might consider using either for repainting, parts, or experimentation.

    Soooo..... Did Arcadia add articulation at the knees and hips to the PF SDF-1, to make it movie accurate?

    Okay, four things... 1. Impressive Macross 7 collection. 2. Fold boosters can attach to the VF-17? 3. Are you applying those FlightPose display stands directly to your valkyries' undersides, or do you have the rubber tips covered with something to prevent toy degradation? 4. Sound boosters can clamp onto the VF-17 in fighter mode? Is that ever done in the show?

    It kind of annoys me how expensive the DX valkyries are... without super/strike/fast/armor parts. And then the high cost of the separate parts on top of that. *sigh* It is actually a factor that has me holding back on getting DX toys. At least releases like Arcadia's VF-1 with Super or Strike parts is not too expensive when you factor in you can get the valkyrie with the parts together for a decent price. I pre-ordered the DX YF-19 because it came with fast packs and fold drive. Had the YF-19 cost as much as the VF-31 does by itself, with the fast packs being another $100+ on top, then I don't think I would have gotten it.
