Definitely. Glad I had no horse in this race. I just stayed up to post the availability list.... but when these pre-order windows only last 2 minutes, maintaining such a list seems kind of pointless.

Hmmm... AmiAmi went from pre-order closed, to pre-order when I refreshed my browner a few moments ago, back to closed again. I think it was available again for maybe 20 seconds at best.

My Yamato 1/60 YF-19 came in the mail today. I figure I can keep my Arcadia version in the display cabinet, and play with the much less expensive Yamato version and sit it out on a regular shelf.

Given that Arcadia already released a 1/60 YF-19, for symmetry I hope they do a YF-21 next... complete with hard points on the wings, ordinance, and fast packs like what came with their 19.

BWHAHAHA! I now own @jenius's Yamato 1/3000 SDF-1. It is kind of cool being able to watch his Youtube review video and say "I own that!" (*looks at her SDF-1*) You're a celebrity! Thanks so much @jenius for the trade! And I hope to see a video review from you soon showing off something I once owned. (*so excited!*)

Hey @borgified I think I finished watching episode 3 or 4 of Delta. I saw the episode where Hayate and Mirage were having a duel using VF-1EX valkyries. So far, I am kind of meh on the show. I like the VF-31 fighter design... but the strong parallel between this show and AKB0048... ugh. Also not a fan of Hayate's personality so far. Recruiting a civilian cargo mech pilot who has little interest in following military protocol into a military organization when there are likely other candidates out there who are both capable pilots and willing to adhere to chain of command just does not make much sense to me. When Hayate joined the squad and told the squad commanding officer that he did not like the military and was going to do things his own way... I just shook my head in disbelief. At least when Ozma recruited Alto in Macross Frontier, Alto conformed to military protocol and respected the chain of command. And in Macross TV, Hikaru went through basic training and sometimes followed orders, except when his chauvinistic pig tendencies kicked in and he did not follow orders from Hayase. Anyways.... at present I don't have any VF-31 toys in my collection. Of the versions I have seen so far, I like the look of the 31A the best. I also kind of like the color scheme of the 31C... but then again, give any valkyrie a pink, violet, or orange paint job, and that is practically an automatic letter grade boost on my report card.

Every time I want to touch my Macross toys, I have made it a habit of going to the bathroom first to wash up, for fear of getting any residual make-up or lotion onto my valkyries. I have also not worn nail polish in about 2 months, as I use my nails to open up landing gear doors. I have also chipped a nail trying to get the landing gear down on my 1/60 VF-1 toys. So, gloves that let me handle my toys safely, and allow me to open up and retract landing gear would be nice.

Do you think cotton gloves would be safer for handling valkyries than nitrile? I worry about not ruining the toys' paint jobs, as well as having a good enough grip to be able to handle the toys without dropping them easily. Also, being able to handle the small bits, like engine intake covers, pilots, etc without losing my grip.

So, I am looking on Amazon for nitrile gloves, and I see most of them looking like this.... ... and now I am saying to myself "2 by 2, hands of blue" over and over again. *sigh* I wish there was more Firefly.
