Nothing announced. Admittedly, now that Arcadia has an active VE-1 Elintseeker mold, it will make their eventual production of a VT-1 easier. Start with the VE-1. Replace the head, boosters packs, and leg armors,... and get rid of the arm attachments and radar dome entirely, Then repaint. Hello VT-1. I wonder if Arcadia would do a regular or PF version.... In the case of the VE-1, when Yamato originally released it, it was pretty much effectively a PF version already. But the same cannot be said for the original VT-1. So it will be interesting to see if this is just a re-release or a PF upgrade when announced.

Bumblebee? That's the Hailee Steinfeld movie, right? I liked her from the Pitch Perfect movies. I remember the ads for that movie looking not too bad. There was an original animated series for Bumblebee? Japanese anime? American cartoon? At least it is not Transformers. -

Nope. Not a joke. I have never had any interest in the Transformers movies. I'm 26. I think I was about 14 or 15 when the first Transformers movie came out. Did not appeal to me back then. Still doesn't today.

2 of my chunky monkeys (2008 Origin of Valkyrie VF-1A Super Max, 2002 VF-1J Hikaru) and Klan Klan SMS cosplay uniform arrived from Mandarake. I have to say.... I really like how compact the packaging is on the 2002 chunky monkeys. They take up so little space! I kind of wish the Yamato/Arcadia and DX Chogokin releases were in such small boxes. Would make my storage nightmare a LOT easier. Also, I like the heftiness of the chunky monkeys. I wonder if there are YetiStands for them? As for the SMS uniform, it is just so-so. The material is bit on the thin side, so you need to wear something underneath... otherwise your underwear will show thru a bit. The wig that came with the uniform see,s a bit too light a shade of blue, compared to what Klan Klan's hair should be. However, given that the uniform and wig set were just 800 yen, it was a pretty good deal. Can't wait to make the uniform a little tighter and add an inner lining to it!

The Venn diagram of my life would show that the domain of my math and computer science prowess does not intersect with the domain for common sense. As shown in the diagram above, most of my finances is allocated to my Macross toy addiction, with little of my finances dictated by common sense. And since I am still a student, my major does not contribute much to my finances.

Being the idiot that I am.... and believe me, I am an idiot... I just won 4 chunky monkey toy auctions thru YJA (using Buyee as proxy): VF-1J Max 2002, VF-1J Miria 2002, VF-1A DYRL Hikaru 2002 and VF-1S Super Hikaru 2002 And I was not even being frugal about it... I went into "in it until you win it" mindset. (Never take me to a casino.... NEVER take me gambling....) Welp, that is $600 down the drain, before shipping costs. *sigh* Hopefully consolidating those 4 into 1 box will lower the shipping bill I will see several days from now. And all this is before considering the VF-1J Hikaru 2002, VF-1A Super Max 2008, and Klan Klan SMS cosplay uniform w/ wig that I bought a few days ago from Mandarake. Like I said, I am definitely an idiot. God, why can't I just blow this kind of money on jewelry or handbags or drugs or alcohol like normal people? At least, I think I have largely satiated my Chunky Monkey urges.... It took about $1000 or so, but I think I have most of the 1/55's that I want. The only thing I am keeping an eye out for now is the VF-1A Super Hikaru 2008. Sure, I'd love to get the Super Ostrich and Elintseeker too, but those are so expensive that they are pretty much off my radar. Plus pieces from 1984 are hard to find in good condition. *sigh* Since I took the plunge on ordering the VF-31S Armored Parts set, I figured I might as well take the dive and order the Super Parts for both Hayate and Mirage. Ordered the 2 Super Parts from AmazonJP for 28,878 yen + 1,974 yen Amazon Global Shipping. I overpaid, didn't I?

I am hesitant about pre-ordering from NY given their "pay now, store credit later" policy if they cannot fulfill your order. What is AE's policy?

I don't think anyone knows. I will continue to check AmazonJP, AmiAmi, Hobby Link Japan, Hobby Search, CD Japan, and MyKombini periodically to see if the VF-31S Armored Parts show up on those sites.
