    Bandai DX VF-31

Any word or rumor about Chuck’s Super Parts?
  2. The RAM materials are made as mats, so you strip mats off and install and smooth the new ones. Much easier than on the Raptor. The mats are also not required for normal combat performance, so after the first week of a campaign, when the US has (supposedly) achieved air superiority and has knocked out the enemy’s AA defenses, you can load the Lightnings with their external pylons and not worry about the RAM maintenance too much.
  3. Ok... why’d Sharon give Isamu a 29? How did she construct it? And why did he take it at all? Thought Sharon would have just provoked his anger and disgust, rather than any conciliation.
  4. Wear Workshop also made two versions of the Damascus blade: cosplay plastic, and stainless steel display.
  5. If you did a set of the VF-4’s Super Parts I bet they’d sell!
  6. Nah. Their biggest mistakes were building one prototype, being unable to build the second one, and stating the production model would be significantly different than the prototype-almost a full redesign.
  7. "I feel." "What do you feel, Lal?" "I love you, Father." "I wish I could feel it with you." "I will feel it for both of us. Thank you for my life. Flirting. Laughter. Painting. Family. Female. Human." WAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
  8. Wow. Very nice work Sentinel!
  9. I don’t think Seto said it (this time), but so you know, the NUNS VF-24 is incredibly powerful. I think I’m correct in saying it’s a match for the YF-29, which was so expensive and time-consuming for Macross Frontier to make that they only produced one. And the NUNS have a whole lot of them, by now.
  10. Except DS9. Sisko just punched him. And when it came to Q-related one-liners, Worf had the best one anyway. Q: “What must I do to convince you people?!” WORF: “Die.”
  11. USS Altair - the Voyager/Enterprise-J concept boomerang - is up for pre-order as well. Looking forward to the Excelsior XL! I really like its design.
  12. Picked this up for cheap, needs some restoration work. Corgi’s 1/72 Memphis Belle.
  13. To a man who’d truly seen things you people wouldn’t believe... and to think, he improvised that speech. I’ll pour one out for you.
  14. I have that issue - the dreaded “TRANSPORTATION ERROR.”
  15. No cat butts make me unable to suspend my disbelief.
  16. Marina Sirtis confirmed Troi and Riker are in Picard. https://twitter.com/Marina_Sirtis/status/1152889561359572992?s=20
  17. DeAgostini is reissuing the J7M very soon now. I think it’s number 100 in the range.
  18. Yep. Looking forward to the Fulcrum, even suggested they do a Cold War Soviet scheme. I’d buy that and a DDR version no problem. They're also working on a P-38, 109G, 190D, and SBD, all in 1/48.
  19. Took delivery of the Hobby Master Mirage 2000-5, probably the last one they’ll make.
  20. The only movie I’ve seen that needed 3D was Dr. Strange. All the reality-bending magic effects were really enhanced by the effect, so much so I really miss it seeing it again on my TV. I saw the last two Star Wars movies in 3D as well and really loved how the effect made the ships look like models flying around. It was like I could hold them in my hand. Really nifty.
  21. My grandfather wrote Blue Book. He had some pretty good stories to tell, but he always said that if there are aliens out there, we haven’t seen them yet.
  22. Yeahp. That pretty much hits the nail on the head. As for Eva being a raging deconstruction of otaku culture: it was that, and an outlet for Hideaki Anno’s depression, and a couple other things. But now, Anno feels better, has a more positive outlook, and I believe has said he’s grateful (kinda?) to the otaku community for embracing his work. I suppose people you hate giving you gobs of money for your work does tend to round off the hard edges...
