  1. Hobby Master’s HA5805, F-117 Nighthawk “Vega 31” of the 7th FS. I was a military brat in Aviano back in ‘99, when this was assigned there, so this has special significance to me!
  2. At 1:25 on your same video, he says “Don’t know if you can see the light in it?” And dang if that doesn’t look like a reflector and light source.
  3. Hey! You saw me during the YF-19 Full Set Pack pre-order!
  4. I think the Eaglemoss K’Tinga has an LED torpedo tube. Hope it’s not too bright.

    Bandai DX VF-31

I was surprised nothing was announced for Delta.
  6. Anyone else stare VERY HARD at the Valkyries on Kawamori’s shelves?
  7. Just noticed the main landing gear door in the wing root - that’s gonna be tall.
  8. Love triangle, song, Valkyries are the pillars. The bases are Kawamori. The capitals are pineapple.
  9. Yes, but those show the VF-22, which (I’m pretty sure) didn’t have the prototype’s MAW due to cost and complexity.
  10. Wings won’t have hardpoints because, if you’ll recall, the 21 used MAW (mission adaptive wing) technology to change their camber and deflection. Don’t think that would play nice with inflexible stores. What this SHOULD come with are the FAST packs and gunpods, as well as a fold booster and, maybe, the ability to remove the arms and legs for delimiter mode. Maybe. Oh, and we need a Tamashii Web Exclusive X-9 Ghost. And some new figures of Isamu, Guld, Myung, and Sharon wouldn’t go wrong.
  11. Whatever happens, Sqidd, it’ll be memorable!
  12. At last, at last. Its time has come.

    Bandai DX VF-31

Need Arad’s custom Kairos as well.
  15. How’s the detail and build quality of that Defiant, please?
  16. Nice work there.
  17. I read somewhere... maybe in Mr. Scott’s Guide to the Enterprise... that it was the USS Ti Ho that had been rechristened.
  18. Wah. I thought I was on to something. I picked the 51, 4, and 27 because I thought one or two designers had lasted that long and had made design input to all of them, not necessarily that they’d been made by SV Works proper.
  19. Picked up the Carbonized Second Sister at GameStop and, wow, what a great finish it has. Definitely a couple cuts above the standard finish. Recommended.
  20. Looking at the Sv-51, VF-4, and VF-27: pure sexiness. The real answer, I think, is singularity of purpose. Most other VF’s can take on various mission packs for purposes that the original VF design isn’t ideally suited for; indeed, in the case of the VF-25 Messiah there was a desire to make an “all-regime” fighter, good in atmosphere and space, with the ability to take on various Super/Tornado/Armor parts to change roles. The Slayers all seem to be purpose-designed for limited roles, or one role. The VF-4 was space-optimized, and wasn’t really used much in atmosphere. The Sv-51 was the first operational VF, built in response to the VF-0 series and intended to defeat them. The 51’s Super Parts were intended to assist. The 27 was made in response to plans for the YF-29 Durandal getting leaked to Macross Galaxy, which made them modify their 27 (which was a match for a Super Messiah) to accept its own Super Parts (more thrusters, gas, and missiles) to almost achieve parity with the 29.
