  1. Agreed. Go with your heart! However, I do have to mention that I think Vehicle Voltron is technically the better made toy. It's sturdier and has higher possibility. The GX-40R is an impressive looking piece but there have been reports of breakage where the arm robots break off from the main body. I don't know if this is from mishandling or if that connector is just too tight. I haven't even attempted to take mine apart. The bicep rotation is also very loose. It's beautiful if it's just 'standing there' though. Despite this, always go with what you have the most attachment to.
  2. That is an AMAZING pose that I'm going to have to copy/steal. Great pics as always @Kuma Style
  3. from google translate: And the proto package sample Arrived. This time too, Mr. Tsukasa Kobuki drew the package illustration! Nice! Please wait a little longer for release! # Megazone 23 # Garland
  4. Nope. Worst multiplayer game ever.
  5. That’s my favorite detail considering the other two releases where the pilot just gets jostled around.
  6. Who else is still waiting on an VF-1S from NY?
  7. If you were charged and it’s now in your PH then yes. You got one. Consider yourself lucky.
  8. Nice! Hopefully more people can get it and at a reasonable price. If only Bluefin was allowed to also sell Macross as well...
  9. The shoulder armor on mine keep popping off if I look at it wrong. Anyone else having the same issue? Seems like they didn't make the ball socket right for them. Also, I had such a hard time transforming Stick that I'm afraid to touch this one.
  10. I think so. I have 3 DF30's on order which are 24"Lx24"Hx12D" that I plan to mount to a wall either horizontally or vertically. They do come in a variety of sizes and can be made to order. Lego's UC's are pretty large kits and these seem to work fine. Downside is that they seem to be pretty expensive and use acrylic and not glass. Do some research! There's also a lot of images posted on their facebook page as well as some youtube video reviews.
  11. Nice! If I order 4 I can get a $125 discount each! (Don't mind me. that just jealousy in my voice ) Just curious but have you considered Moducase?
  12. I work in manufacturing. Can confirm. No one sees anything. Even if they do they don’t report it. They mostly just want to put in their time and go home. It’s very hard to train that mentality out of people.
  13. Interesting as I've never heard that expression before. TIL
  14. Well that was weird. I just got a pre-order from HLJ too just now (8:50AM PST). No issues whatsoever. I was on last night and gave up after an hour when it kinda/sorta when up but wouldn't allow check out.
  15. Mines has landed! Just need the Strike pack and to fish my missile set from storage (Sorry for the potato cell phone image)
  16. @sqidd and anyone else interested. EVA-02 and Crossbone Gundam X-2 back in stock at Anime Export EVA-02: $285 http://www.anime-export.com/product/45988 Crossbone Gunam X-2: $306 http://www.anime-export.com/product/45985
  17. Amazon JP also has them up for $186.61 Shipped to the US
  18. It just means that the order has been acknowledged and they will try to fulfill it. No money has been exchanged yet until the item is secured under your order.
  19. Finally. I finally got shipping notice from NY for both of my GX-88 units. Looks like I’ll get them, the VF-1S and Blow Superior right around the same time. Now.. How the hell am I going to explain this to my wife...
  20. I’m in the same boat. I passed both on BBTS and USAGundam GX-88s because I have two on pre-order at NY. Crazy how we’re getting a VF-1S before the Voltron. I wasn’t collecting during the VF-31A fiasco but reading those stories I was actually impressed NY came through. I think it would have been a lot simpler for them to cancel the pre-orders then triple the price like every other retailer did.
  21. Thanks for this info. Very useful. I'll have to try it sometime.
  22. I got my 'Processing' notice from NY. I ordered on PO night and just missed the MSRP price. Settle for the first price hike and total was just over $306 USD shipped. A bit steep but whatever
  23. I am. I ordered two from them on PO night at inflated prices. Wish I had been patient and waited for the US retailers for the cheaper price and slip cover. I'm not worried about NY shipping late. I'm sure they'll pull through and I'm drowning in toys right now anyways.
