I'm actually thinking of the TOS series where Kirk took Khan into the Enterprise in the Space Seed episode when you said that. I believe that some did mention this quote before (to a certain degree): "Down the Rabbit Hole you go, when to stop, no one will ever know". -

Huh?? I thought the Kairos canopy cover is supposed to be clear like Messers (according to the promo pic posted by @IXTL), however I guess that Bandai decided to make it a universal yellow/light amber colour instead.. Edit: The numbering is different as well.

Ugh.. Like the Magnus sculpt, however the head needs work and the helmet as well. Is that supposed a rough representation of Sir Ian McKellen's face?? I know that it came out as the Jubes BAF lineup back in August/September 2014. Love the sculpt and colours on Warren as Archangel (no wonder that he was the most sought after figure at that time). @Bahamutzyro: Did you have the blue dots issue on your copy of Hoth Leia? There is a write up on the One Sixth Warriors Forums if you did have the time to read it. -
That's why I don't order from NY anymore due to the fiasco with my HMR DYRL Strike Roy as they asked me (and others) for additional Yen to cover the payment for the extra orders of the HMY Roy that they under estimated on at the MRSP and had to source out more additional copies to keep with the demand. As I look at the pics of the Kairos more, I'm starting to warm up on this version although I'm aiming to get Arad's if possible (that may change later on).

This actually reminds me of Star Wars: AOTC (when you see the waves of the Clone Army being deployed) or in ROTJ (where the Imperial troops are lined up in the Darth Star landing bay and ready for the Emperor's inspection).

These figures in black the remind me of the current Marvel Comic title: Weapon X in where Wolvie (Old Man Logan), X-23, Warpath, Lady Deathstrike, Sabertooth and Domino team up and go against other members of the rebooted Weapon X project. I haven't had an opportunity to pick up the TPBs of the storyline (or read it online) yet; however from what I heard, it got very good reviews. Note: What was Marvel Legends thinking while doing Psylocke? It's looks like that they didn't give much thought on her as the suit looks terrible when you first look at it. It doesn't look like a one piece cat suit/bathing suit for that matter.. I actually have planned another 1/6th figure. Not the Galactic Empire per se, it's actually from a comic book series that was done by an Eisner winner. I'm in a conversation with a member from the One Sixth Warrior forums and she is a Macross fan as well. As the quote by Emgo's wife (Loriplan) on her YouTube channel goes: "Girls can be geeks too". -

Isn't that the Sentinels which was offered at TRU a few years back (or not)? Just acquired this three hours ago after re-formatting my Detolf of selected TFs and used the credit for this. Thinking of getting another 1/6th figure later this year.

I'm more in parallel with @spacemanoeuvres as I don't like Delta as a series however I do like the valks . For myself, I rather have a break in between Macross releases (started in September/October of last year) as I'm thinning out/refocusing my TF collection that I acquired for over six years since I moved back into YVR from YYZ (still got to sort out the ones that I have in storage). I might get another 1/6th figure sometime later on this year has I still have a Hot Toys AVP (v.1) Scar Pred that I got in YYZ. As for Macross stuff wise: I've got the what I want in regards to the HMR line up: VF-1S Roy (DYRL), VF-1J with the GBP, VF-2ss (Silvie) and VE-1. For the valks itself: Arcadia VF-1S Roy (DRYL), Yamato SV-51 (Nora), Bandai VF-171EX Alto (have the armoured parts for it as well) and the one of the 1/48 valks (got the Fast/Strike Parts on the way). Thinking about getting the 31s or 31a (with the armoured parts), SV-262 (Keith/Roid) with the Lil'Draken add-on, and the Arcadia SV-51 Nora [it all depends on my budget]. Besides that, I've been collecting 3 comic book series only: Marvel Old Man Logan (current run), Marvel Spider Gwen and Dark Horse: Usagi Yojimbo Saga (all in TPB versions) and will get certain crossovers titles if it interests me.

@rsvictor1976: The 31 will be the safer alternative to the SV-262 in order of transformation and user friendly standards. Although the Draken is the most outstanding enemy mecha valks in the series, I have read and learned that the SV-262 has went backwards in transformation while 31 was easier to handle upon transformation (even thought the 31 was designed after the Draken and released first in the line as per fighter wise).

Wasn't that supposedly the updated GBP Armour after seeing it in action in DYRL and the Reaction Armour for the VF-0s in Zero Series (even though it's scaled in 1/72 size)?

I though Arad's is more leaning toward the teal colour (more on the blue side) and not green or I'm not getting the correct colour code. Isn't Mirage more of a magenta (purple-red combo) hue?

The Princess arrived two hours ago from Amiami. Got a few minor scratches on one of the wings and the triangle points are intact as I took it out of the box. Will have to tackle the transformation later on this week as I ordered the B/B graded box. @Alex GS: No problems on my copy of the VF-171EX as I know that you're still hunting for the VF-31J. There's actually a sticker of the condition of the item and box close to where the UPC code is.

@Sandman: After the exchange from JPN Yen to CND Dollars conversion, we sill get hosed regardless and it doesn't even help if any of us gets dinged by CBSA in regards to import fees when getting valks from oversees either. I got dinged twice for my HMR VF-2ss and the HMR VF-1J with the GBP [not going to be surprised if the VF-171EX Alto I'm getting tomorrow (or Tuesday) from Amiami gets also booked for import fees]. I guess I'll find out how the dice rolls when it gets delivered somehow. Like I mentioned in this thread awhile back (or was it posted in the other one), these valks are like the "Holy Grails" for us as a fair chunk of them are un-obtainable. For the ones we want and have the $$ to acquire it later on, it as skyrocketed to an crazy amount that's even beyond or reach (just look at the ones on evilbay or fromjapan for that matter). Rant aside, I'm keeping my options open in getting Arad's valk with the armoured parts or going for the Karios version instead.

Sorry for the typo there Lolicon, Slave IV is correct. I somehow got Oxberg and Oxford mixed up while I was typing.. Here's the link if you want it in the Birch/Veneer colour: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S79023409/. The pricing of the other trim colours will adjust accordingly as per the selection chosen. Ikea had the Klingsbo display cabinet (the length of the jewelry/make up case that you see in Wal-mart/Nordstrom's/The Bay and the now defunct Sears/Eatons/Zellers/Woolco store chains) a few years back.

You can thank me for that push @Lolicon for the incentive for more valk pics. @Valkyrie Driver: If you want a budget friendly option then you can get the Brimnes cabinet (with the Glass doors) for $99 USD [that's $129 CND for us Canuckle heads]* or the Billy/Oxford bookcase (with the glass door option) for $149 USD or $135 CND. It all depends of how many valks you have in your collection.. *Note the Wolverine reference as per the Marvel Comics series. Edit: Why is the Billy/Oxford combo more for you guys in the States than us in Canada pricewise (and I'm not talking about the exchange rates either)??

Look like the Gypsies and Gnaw are ready for her to fly out of the box. 18,000 Yen for Mirage is a fairly good price for it as I seen some listings can ask 22,000 (?)+ Yen for her. Now the question next to ask is: Are you ready for her colours on the SV-262 Ba variant if it ever gets made?

Hmm.. So far the HMR Monster, Spartan, Defender are done. Phalanx, Tomahawk (and possibly the Koening as well?) are still up for debate..

Got my copy of the HMR VF-1J with the GBP on Monday and got nabbed by Canada Post Customs for approximately $45 CND import tax.. Now waiting for the Super Ostrich as I'm focusing the the ones that I need. Will be getting Q-raus and possibly the other Zentradi/Meltrandi mechs (skipped on the Regults and the Glaug).
