  1. To those who recommend FansHobby for Legioss; Genius. Their design style is such a good fit and that plastic they use even is exactly how I'd want it to feel. Thank you alll as well for the airbrush advice. Didn't even think to break that out
  2. This is really well written perspective and I completely agree. I got the same kinds of comments on my review and it was hard for me to make sense of the viewpoint even for the sake of sympathy/empathy. The problems aren't with the transformation/engineering but with simple tabs and tolerances. It's a matter of poor quality control standards. I honestly don't think I've ever really seen a price difference for tampos. This looks so insanely much better. This is so gorgeous... something about the colors and face on Rei really make it look like something out of an animation cell. Bernard is definitely going to be my armored one while he remains unhelmeted.
  3. Thank you, man... and I honestly went from completest to just really collecting the characters I want and honestly if it weren't for that DragonBall FighterZ game and wanting to keep the characters I rotate playing with I probably wouldn't but them anymore at all. They're pretty darned good figures but TBH I think they're ones to where you really have to have an investment into the anime to give them staying factor because they reuse parts between them all so often that the figures become "samey" fairly fast. Really hoping to see a Zamasu with a fused haircut included.
  4. @JB0 Thank you very much for the breakdown in changes. Even as a owner of the original, this is damned tempting. Showing a few of the Dancouga troops:
  5. Even the used ones are going for retail+ on Ebay.
  6. Maaaaaaaaaaaan I've been getting in a bunch of non-TF stuff lately. Really looking forward to the FP Monstructor and hopefully getting a PerfectEffect Gorira Prime soon. Next week I've got a nice little package with MP-36, FT Sovereign, and the MT visualizers in it. Sweet price of $360 too! Re: That Prime; that thing is freaking awesome, man. The ooooooooooooonly thing I wish is that they'd kept the head the same. I appreciate you taking some actual side-by-side pics with stuff because it's honestly the first I'd seen with any comparisons.
  7. This. Whole pic is brighter. Look at the stand.
  8. I'm doing this the second I get home. I may good honestly just go ahead and and take the texture off too. That looks fantastic.
  9. I think it's a 50/50 because there is quite a bit given up aesthetically there to achieve it as well. I'm with you though on respecting even the stuff that isn't perfect transformation. I think that they really are doing some things That just plain wouldn't get done if they didn't exist. It's just a hard pill to swallow as a consumer (unless you're just that "ballin'") when you look at the opportunity costs involved.
  10. I would love to see this but shutter at the price as Sentinel's stuff seems to be rising just for the hell of it. Speaking of Studio Halfeye... I know it's a YMMV thing but TBH I have Dancougar Nova and Goddanner and for the price they're very small, resin, fiddly pieces that really don't justify the prices. They also aren't "perfect transformation" with things being unscrewed, partsformed, etc. etc.. Awesome engineering but there's a lot to be desired.
  11. Thanks @Ignacio Ocamica! And @mechaninac I really like C with B being a close second.
  12. Thanks brother.
  13. Re: Scaling reference; Here's a screen grab just for comparison's sake; @no3Ljm was definitely right.
  14. Thank you, man... and yes it's noticeably bigger proportionally compared to the cartoon. I don't much mind it as it's not really noticeable from any angle BUT that direct side view and even there it just looks more like a dirtbike or smaller cc rocket. --------------------------------------------------------------- @Tober Thank you, man!
  15. Well if it helps the drill tank and jets aren't the arms legs themselves; they're just armor that goes over Gravion's already-present limbs.
  16. Not sure. It had two hours left to upload when I checked this morning before work at like 7am but it honestly may still be processing given the video file size. I can't check youtube site and youtube videos are just big gray boxes on this computer so I honestly won't know until I get a video comment notification or something. The full review linked has both in the video section though so it'll show up there whenever it's finished.
  17. Thanks so much for taking the time to check them all out, Captain! I'm really looking forward to your add-ons tbh and if you can remember me PLEASE shoot me a message when they go up for order if I don't catch the post. They're really going to make it look so much more complete with the CVR boxes. -------------------------------------------------- Also; does anyone have a link to any sort of tutorial for getting the visor OFF of the helmet? I can't tell how it's held in and don't just want to potentially yank and break.
  18. @Arthurius Howdy ZF! Good to see you on here as well! @davidwhangchoi Thanks man and I really appreciate it. The full review of Sentinel's Riobot R-18 Mospeada VR-052F (Stick Bernard) is up; http://kumastyledesigns.com/sentinel-mospeada-stick-review/ I've went in even on these forums and in the video review about aspects of the figure that I don't like but the full written review goes in more verbal depth about it as well. A transformation video is also included at the link and hopefully that helps anyone having issues. Needless to say that one of the best parts of having finished this one is that I don't have to be bothered fiddling with the product anymore. The full gallery is 25 pictures shot at a higher-than-usual resolution to give you all the best look possible and here are a few pics from it;
  19. @Dangard Ace - Thanks for the clarification on diecast human figures; robbits only from here on out. As for the "hobo" remark; I don't know the user or his actual lifestyle and it was a metaphor regarding a skill set in a particular area (photography.) I feel that people in general should really focused on the aesthetic value of their own works before demeaning that of others. ------------------------------------------------ Preordered the heck out of Gravion and thanks again @dragonstar1982 for the heads up. You're a rockstar.
  20. This is actually interesting; why does it bother you?
  21. Yea... the Ride Armor is just bad... there's no other way to describe it. I'm glad you got the transformation going but I did shout you out and hone in on that area during the transformation video so if you do check it out, let me know if that still helps at all. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- @davidwhangchoi Thanks man!
