  1. Flying Mule finally shipped out my Calibre Wings VF-1S. Unfortunately, it's missing the two dorsal fins right behind the heatshield. Emailed them and still waiting on a response. Also got in my Metal Build Strike Freedom (Soul Blue) from Bluefin. Loving how they've started selling web exclusives.
  2. Ah, you found one. Going to go down the rabbit hole on the various backpacks next?
  3. A microfiber duster also works well, just need to get one of the ones where it's just strands coming out of a handle, so they don't catch on things.
  4. They’re on my “last resort” list when it comes to POs at this point anyway.
  5. I've actually contacted Arcadia directly, and asked them to ship a set to my Tenso forwarding address (I have an Arcadia website account). However, my Japanese is a bit rusty, so I'm only mostly sure they're going to ship me a set. Also it's obviously not shown up yet, so playing the waiting game.
  6. I reached out to them, flat out unwilling to contact Arcadia, even when I pointed out HLJ and Nippon Yasan had done so and were getting replacement parts. Offered to pay the shipping myself, if they'd just get the parts for me. They even offered me half price back, but told them I didn't want a discount, I wanted the parts to fix it. Apparently one of the other forumers wanted to return theirs, and they just refunded the whole price and let him keep it. I'm tempted to contact them again and ask one last time if they're willing to do what the other retailers are...
  7. Those are looking great, nice work.
  8. Whatever way this ends up, I need one to go with all my YF-19s and YF21s.
  9. Really regretting buying from CDJapan rather than HLJ right now.
  10. Option 3: 3D print a new stand adapter to go with a different hole location? Personally, I'd just move/alter the detail. However... Given what these are for, and who the users are likely to be, lineart accuracy is probably the better choice. Possibly have a removable insert so people can swap between correct detail and peg hole (for those who are lineart purists)? P.S. Looks good so far!
  11. Just a FYI: Metal Build Strike Freedom (Soul Blue Ver) is back in-stock at Bluefin: https://www.bluefinbrands.com/strike-freedom-gundam-soul-blue-ver-gundam-seed-destiny-bandai-metal-build-bas55162.html
  12. HLJ has confirmed that their stock is fixed.
  13. They're really deviating from the aesthetic of TOS/TNG/DS9/Voyager. Look more like some alternate evolution of the Enterprise/Discovery designs.
  14. I'll be keeping both Yamatos I have.
  15. Everything in the standard version, the transport base, and a set of hands plus an effect part to do the "rip through an AT field" thing.
  16. I'm 100% certain that it will be available from various US based retailers, including Amazon.com eventually. Just means waiting, and will probably cost a bit more than the Japanese MSRP. Example, HLJ has the RG Nu for ¥3,570 JPY (15% off ¥4,200 JPY MRSP), while Amazon charges $46 (approx ¥4,975). As far as US stores go, I'd get it from either Amazon or Gundam Planet. Or just wait till you have something else from a Japanese store and ship it with that.
  17. You can just wait until it's available on Amazon, or in-stores in the US. Usually takes around a month? Honestly, my rule on regular release Bandai kits is to only buy them on sale. Of course that's partially due to my model kit backlog already being sizeable.
  18. Thanks for the info. The OG series is fine, though I generally prefer models/figures with a bit more detail than those old ones had. Discovery and Enterprise went a bit too far though (to me). The Bonaventure looks pretty good, as does the spacedock and the Warbird.
  19. Whoops, misread the email. It's up to 50% off, which means probably best to just wait for a better sale. Still doing the buy4 get 1 free thing though. As far as ship styles, I like the Voyager, Enterprise B, D, E, and F (absolutely hate the J though), Delta Flyer, Reliant, Defiant. Mainly wondering which of the releases are really well done, or really poorly done (bad paint/molding/warped nacelles, etc...)
  20. Ah, my mistake. The original one is a very nice piece, just be aware that one of the stand adapters just sucks (wobbles). Can't recall which, it's been a while since I put mine up.
  21. So Eaglemoss is doing a sale for up to* 50% off and buy 4 get 1 free. I only have their BSG stuff, what are some good Star Trek ships to get? (Voyager/TNG/DS9/Movies)
  22. Worth noting, this figure includes parts molded in multiple colors. Specifically the horn, the eyepiece, and some of the arm armor bits. Also Bandai states that they've specifically focused on articulation in this kit. The knee bend and the hips are stated to be able to do natural crouching poses. The torso and neck are also called out as improved articulation.
