  1. AJ hasn't let me down yet, and I have the GoodSmile 1/48 Swordfish II pre-ordered through them currently (because shipping this thing for 1200yen international express rocks).
  2. From my personal experience: Nippon Yasan: Don't expect customer service, don't expect fast shipping, they will eventually get you your order through. Hobby Link Japan: Good customer service, ships things out reasonably quickly, a bit more expensive CD Japan: Customer service isn't great, but oftentimes less expensive than HLJ and faster to ship than NY. Hobby Search: Quick shipping, prices similar to CDJ usually, haven't dealt with their customer service. For anything you absolutely must have I'd go with HLJ over all the others, for things you'd like to have go with HS or CDJ, for really expensive things you're not to worried about manufacturer defects on go with NY (as they have the lowest prices). Special mention Amazon Japan: #1 best place to buy pre-orders through, provided they will ship internationally. Prices are similar to HLJ, but the shipping is fast and cheap, and they do have good customer service.
  3. Love the Zero display you have going.
  4. Not anymore they don't (it wasn't me, I swear). People can use a web-monitor to stalk that page for any others going up.
  5. Pretty much, don't look for consistency when it involves flagships or any other plot-relevant ship.
  6. Got shipping notice from Hobby Search for the one I picked up at release.
  7. Amazon order showed up, just waiting for Tenso to consolidate with my Arcadia leg repair parts, and then finally on it's way to me.
  8. That's exactly what I do, and I still only managed one pre-order for the VF-1S on release night, and that was via Amazon Japan w/o international shipping option.
  9. Wow, that's a much larger pilot than the 1J. Mine is out for delivery (to Tenso), but is late being delivered. Ought to show up tomorrow I hope.
  10. Got shipping notice from my copy thru Amazon Japan. Now just need to wait for it to show up at the proxy for international shipping.
  11. Yup, you pay tax, because you're shipping to a Japanese address. They hold inventory for 60 days.
  12. Pretty much. You get a specific personal address (like having a unit number for an apt building) that anything which shows up there will be held for you to cross-ship overseas. They charge a service fee per received parcel, plus a fee to combine packages for international shipping. Essentially I have my tenso address registered as my address for places like Amazon Japan (along with my US address) and my Arcadia web store account.
  13. Direct from AJ, but shipped to my Tenso proxy address. It's the only pre-order I managed to get. The hobby search order was on release.
  14. The one on the right side of the picture is correct. Which would make it the left side of the Battroid. They should both be biased inwards as I understand it.
  15. No shipping notice yet from either Amazon Japan or Hobby Search. Got charged for both though, so probably going out Monday.
  16. Got my DeJapan order confirmed, not entirely sure if it's the first or second batch, but I think it's the first.
  17. Not charged yet, but got the following email: Yes, it's an order from Amazon Japan as the seller, I had to have it shipped to a Tenso address. It was the only pre-order I could get. [edit] I have now been charged as well.
  18. Phew, managed to resist long enough to not get a third... In retrospect I suppose it would have been better to get it and pass one along at cost to another forumer.
  19. That's what I'm currently using, I guess they don't offer it to new accounts anymore.
  20. I just set it to email me, and have my phone alert when it receives an email.
  21. Paste the URL of the P-Bandai or Tamashii Web Exclusive item you want to buy into their search bar, and it'll bring it up as on the shopping service page. You'll need to paste the product name (from the webpage) into one of the fields.
  22. I'm so glad I have Distill running at times like this.
  23. Up at Hobby Search, got one https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10616645
