  1. The hand would be a much easier fix. Though, to be honest, fixing the legs was pretty straightforward, and Arcadia actually sent me replacement parts (albeit to a Japanese Tenso address).
  2. Yeah, I'm glad that they're mostly non-painted, given how much paint chips during transformation. Sure, paint looks amazing (like the upcoming VF-0D), but I like being able to transform them back and forth without worrying too much.
  3. It was 8800yen, including tax. Roughly double the missile pack.
  4. It's not the cost of production, t's the opportunity cost. Bandai has their own factory, it's a question of if it's worth slotting this stuff for production over something else. I heavily suspect that with as popular as the 1/48 VF-1 was, some production slots got shifted to it from Macross Delta.
  5. I mainly had LEGO and BRIO, plus a computer. Never any GI-Joe, just one transformer, no Macross/Robotech stuff. Which is why I buy it all now, I suppose. Certainly glad they're making stuff like the 1/48 aimed at adults rather than children now that I'm old enough to afford it.
  6. My personal suspicion is that Bandai cares more than anything else about making sure things don't sit on shelves. The lower their shelfwarmer numbers, the better their bargaining position with retailers. From what I understand Bandai doesn't let retailers decide what items to carry as much as what lines. Because Bandai itself is good at producing things that don't sit on shelves, they can get away with this sort of distribution. Not to mention they can probably push lower seller margins as their product isn't sitting around.
  7. ...I honestly don't care about the internal details on the Super/Strike parts. I don't display them with the covers off on any of my Arcadia (or HMR) figures anyway. I can see how someone who likes displaying them that way would be annoyed however.
  8. Because MWO's engine sucks?
  9. Mine is 100% in the first batch, and I have some other stuff waiting on it to show up. Hoping I can get it all shipped out before the new year. [edit] Checking again, looks like mine have arrived, but no email alert yet. Now to decide if I want to ship out, or wait for the RG X-2 Gundam...
  10. Not yet for me, assuming you're talking about the strike packs.
  11. Any pre-order at around MSRP is cheaper than aftermarket post-release. So get your pre-order where you can, and if you can't then decide to gample on picking up one at MSRP (or close) at release or pre-order one from a scalper at markup.
  12. My second one ought to show up this week, still deciding which mode to display in. It's such a great figure.
  13. Buyee is a proxy buying service, they will receive and trans-ship overseas for additional fee.
  14. Darn, and here I was hoping that it not being multiplayer would let them undo some of the stupid "balance" changes they made. I had the game pre-ordered, right up until the Epic game store bullcrap.
  15. It's so ugly. I love it.
  16. No, it's a special edition of the RG nu packaged with the effects and an action base.
  17. That is the RX-93. It's a special set that includes an action base and the missile effects.
  18. I'm keeping them, they scale with all the other DX valkyries I have afterall, not to mention the Yamato/Arcadia VF-0, VF-11, and YF-19 and YF-21.
  19. It's when I try and upload directly from the phone. Looks like under that size, but its 4k x 3k resolution. Looks like it works when I crop the image, so might be a resolution limit.
  20. Still hoping that the Figma version eventually comes out.
  21. The feet are not identical, the actual difference is the post that the clamshell goes around on the foot. It's biased to one side or the other, depending on left or right side.
  22. It's a plastic clamshell held together by the two screws, once both are removed it can be separated and removed from the slider bar.
  23. There are two screws, the one further up inside the leg is hard to reach, have to pivot the foot away and use a precision screwdriver with a thin shaft.
