  1. This I think is the original source: https://www.horace.org/blog/tag/macross-plus/ Nice posing, looks really close. I'm waiting for Bandai's YF-21 to try and recreate, since the Yamato looks gorgeous in Fighter, but kinda... bleh in Battroid.
  2. FYI, Banzai hobby has their new year's lucky bags up. Good way to buy a backlog of Gunpla kits. https://banzaihobby.com/lucky-bag
  3. I'd definitely buy it if it was the Itasha version.
  4. No, it in fact does. I will take pictures and demonstrate that it does when I get home. Description with words: Remove the missiles from the double-hardpoint. Put the missile that was on the left side onto the right side. Put the missile that was on the right side onto the left side. Now your double-missile hardpoint's missiles will have their icons facing the proper direction.
  5. Switch the missiles on the double-hardpoint around and the icons will match the standalone missile.
  6. Just got an email from MEPToys:
  7. 8800yen MSRP includes tax, so NY is charging 400 to cover local shipping and their own profit margin/costs. Still a good deal, it's cheaper than buying singles through a proxy (as they charge domestic shipping +300yen per order).
  8. Honestly, considering that whole fiasco, they're probably having some long painful discussions with their manufacturing/assembly firm.
  9. I wonder if it got pushed back due to the VF-0D being pushed back.
  10. Well, on the plus side I'm well on my way to forgetting Delta entirely!
  11. Well, the E did get an armored pack in the TV show, though it wasn't an RVF anymore at that point due to swapping the radome pod.
  12. S prices went up when the armored parts were announced. C prices went up gradually, personally I think that valk has the best color and head sculpt, but the real reason is probably because Mirage is the one female pilot. Messer also was high, but it's the only VF-31 that got released twice, which obviously tanked it's price. E will end up higher if an armored pack for it ever gets announced.
  13. Glasses don't do that, or at least they haven't done that since the time period of Eva (meanwhile the shining glasses trope is used constantly). They have Anti-Reflective coatings.
  14. About the same time I saw a pair of glasses luminesce.
  15. Wow, the transforming one is exceedingly suck.
  16. Al least you might to be able to cobble a single good one together out of the original and the replacement.
  17. No, but it needs to to pull off some of the anime poses. Though that's more to do with how flexible the battroid itself is drawn, and artistic license.
  18. I guess that's an upside to being in a high cost of living area, even $550 is just a small part of monthly rent or mortgage here.
  19. Managing to get in orders at MSRP. Keeps it to ¥18000+¥4400+¥8800, or a bit under $300 before shipping. Much more reasonable than the aftermarket pricing, even if the Strike Packs and Missiles are a bit expensive.
  20. I just have my strike battroid standing rather than mounted. Never had any issues with the fighter or gerwalk adapters for the normal figure either, though the strike pack fighter adapter looks a bit...
  21. Unfortunately Tenso has a storage time limit, and will only hold for 60days.
  22. I'll admit, I'm very tempted to go in on this, of course only shipping via SAL once every 2 months, which ought to bring the cost down quite a bit.
  23. "Optional additional equipment is available."
  24. It's an existing transforming toy, just with the colors shifted and a unit 01 head attached to it.
