  1. No kidding, the second one I got through NY hasn't even shipped yet.
  2. I skipped the fighter mode model, but I might be in for a Battroid to go with the Gerwalk.
  3. As they say: warts and all.
  4. From my travels to Japan, hand-washing is a bit of an issue as well. Sure in a decent restaurant you can get a hot towel before you eat, but just about everywhere there aren't even places to dry your hands in the bathroom.
  5. You'd need 2 of them though, one that says Roy, and one that says Hikaru.
  6. Took them long enough. Now here's hoping it's not a significantly reduced selection compared to the Japanese site.
  7. One really easy method is Bandai pour-type panel lining markers. They work via capillary action, just touch to the panel line and the ink spreads on it's own. Minimal cleanup and safe for most plastics (never seen any damage personally).
  8. Yeah, I'm out, it's no fun anymore when the trolling is this stoneheaded.
  9. I thought you were going to show us a transformation pic? That's still a fighter-mode model kit. The gear doors are entirely wrong for a DX, and the feet are plastic rather than metal.
  10. I think that's one of the 3D printed Yeti adapters.
  11. Glorious, it's what people have wanted for decades.
  12. Check on the For Sale forum, or put up a request in the wanted section. Or buy from Mandarake. NY is not a great option for already released figures, they tend to overcharge significantly. edit: Mandarake link, available from ¥24,000 to ¥28,000 for various conditions. If you prefer something more anime accurate, there's also the Arcadia version here, available between ¥27,000 to ¥28,000.
  13. 100 issues, at ~$18.50 each after currency conversion. Except for issue 1 that was only like $2.80
  14. There is a 1/48 scale YF-19 kit made by Hasegawa you can find. But it's a model kit, not a finished figure. It doesn't transform either.
  15. It's honestly pretty easy for the most part. Just pre-order/order from HLJ and have 4 of them shipped out every 2 months via private warehouse. Unfortunately looks like #2 is no longer available from there.
  16. Can confirm the seam line thought, mine had a seam in the ball, shaved that off and was much improved.
  17. That looks pretty sexy right there.
  18. I subscribed through tenso as well, but the additional costs of doing that vs just buying and shipping through HLJ was 100% not worth it. Talking about several hundred extra $. I'll just buy a pilot off YJA for that much, or skip it entirely.
  19. No, because if it did you could see the seams and hinges.
  20. There is 0% chance those images are of a DX Chogokin valkyrie. Especially with those last 2 it's obviously a non-transforming model kit. It's fine to post unsubstantiated rumors, but when everyone can look at the images and tell they're not what you're claiming OF COURSE they'll call you out on it.
  21. Those certainly do look like handles, and actually looks like a pair of knives if anything. WTF would Batman be doing with a paid of knives though...
  22. Yeah, KC customer service seems decent. My VF-1S came with the hardpoints missing on one wing. They're sending me a replacement wing along with my Misa figure.
  23. It's really a shame that the release is marred by that foot issue. Other than that it's a gigantic and (for the one I got) solid beast.
  24. I think this scheme looks better than the basic one in Battroid, personally. The black chest and yellow highlights.
