  1. From my perspective, I'm comfortable stripping the canopy and replacing the shoulders, but I'm absolute garbage at doing weathering work, or really anything more complicated than flat paint/detail painting/panel lines. Also, since I only got into this a few years back I really have no attachment to the rainbow canopies to begin with.
  2. There was a 1/60 weathered Roy at Jungle. Opened, damaged rainbow canopy, cracked shoulders. ¥27,500. I'm waiting to hear from Jungle on shipping costs, and when it shows up I'll see how "used" it is.
  3. Looks like ShowZ is still shipping to the US. Just got my Metal Build Sazabi from them, shipped out on April 7th, so only took 2 weeks.
  4. I'll also totally buy a weathered Roy off you, if you're letting go of more than 1.
  5. I much preferred the music from Frontier and Plus.
  6. Sorry to say, mine's showing as still in Mexico per both USPS and Mexican tracking websites. No hurry though, definitely can't do anything with it while it's so hard to get isopropyl for cleaning/painting.
  7. Shokugeki no Soma puts the Porn in Food Porn.
  8. I bought one a while ago from Mandarake.
  9. Ha! Some day, not going to boot up the printer anytime soon, the smell is too much when I'm working from home.
  10. That's a shadow from the hand I think.
  11. You forgot: Behind the scenes, the cooking consultant the author had been using throughout the series was off on leave during this arc. The author decided to go it solo without any cooking consultant, so the special cooking "techniques" took a nose-dive directly into the Marianas-trench of absolute garbage.
  12. As a manga reader for Shokugeki: this is an arc better off skipped.
  13. Honestly wouldn't mind doing individual parts. Sure printing takes longer, but less material usage and cleanup. Also gives better control of part orientation. Someday I'll be able to use the printer again, someday when I can find isopropyl to do cleanup afterwards.
  14. Contact AE and ask what shipping methods are available, due to the current shipping situation.
  15. Then let’s not get this one lost as well.
  16. There's already another thread for discussing the 1/72 line. Let's keep the discussion to the figures here, please.
  17. Looks like my HLJ and CDJapan packages both got returned to sender today. For HLJ at least they should be able to let it sit in private warehouse. Not sure what I'll do with the CDJapan order.
  18. My wing actually came like that, without any of the hardpoints glued in. They didn't fall off (though I understand that's not uncommon). The other wing is fine, just the one side.
  19. My 1S didn't even have hardpoints on one wing when it showed up. Still waiting for them to ship the replacement wing with Misa.
  20. I have a small format resin printer, the AnyCubic Photon. Build volume is only 115x65x155mm. Would probably have to downscale to print it on that. Totally willing to give it a shot though.
  21. Congratulations. Diplomas count as a purchase in my book. As someone who was in graduated into the post-2008 recession, I feel your pain. Worst case, find a start-up to get some experience, they're not picky and you can get some great resume fodder.
  22. That paintjob looks like a photoshop job due to aliasing and the heatshield area. Regardless, a Max 1S would be nice, but I want a Roy 1S first.
  23. I'm expecting them to favor battroid like they did with the DX YF-19. The Yamato YF-21 and Arcadia YF-19 already gave us amazingly good fighter modes.
