    Not entirely true. I got a set of replacement legs directly from Arcadia. All they required was that I have a Japanese address they could ship to. So I signed up for a Tenso address. Which I can't entirely blame them on, as they're not likely set up for international shipping, and really that particular job should fall on the retailer (CDJ told me to pound sand).

    I find he's pretty good even inside the genre, at least the 3 Thrawn novels. I enjoyed all his books I've read, from the Thrawn trilogy, to WH40k, to original series. Take it as you will.

    Just got in a Hikaru HMR VF-1S (from Mandarake), and I now officially have at least one copy of every single Macross HMR release. ¥13,000 for Opened, Used, Package Damaged. Opened it up and definitely used, but no damage/defects/paint scrapes. All good as far as I'm concerned.

    If they wanted easy money, they should re-pop Hikaru and Roy. Or do a paint variation that they haven't printed before. Hell, do an Angel Birds or an Alaska Base. Miria is the only Arcadia VF-1 I regularly see go on discount, and is in-stock pretty much everywhere.

    Cool, I'll be in for one. I have the Alto and Anniversary releases, but keep them in fighter due to aforementioned joint issues.

    Pen works just fine over small areas, it self-levels to a nice mirror finish.

    Detail work on model kits. Usually Bandai Gunpla, but also some others including the 1/72 transforming Macross kits.

    Molotow is great, I've got a pair of 1mm pens I ran dry (and then refilled) plus the two larger sized pens for larger areas.

    Possibly there was a mold defect or damage, and they (the manufacturer, not Arcadia) just produced more of the good side and hoped nobody noticed.

    Wish they'd come out with armor packs or something for it.

    So far as I'm aware, every single one with the leg error has the same error, so swapping won't get you anywhere.

    Depends, the other 31 figures are starting to climb (or at least Mirage and Arad are), is it worth the premium over Mirage/Arad? Depends if you like the color scheme and different wing shape. Is it worth more than double a Chuck, Messer, or Hayate? Probably not in my opinion.

    Just wait until you order something from Amazon Japan. I've had them deliver stuff in 2days, for ¥1600 in shipping fees.

    Eh, the 5700XT is roughly comparable both in price and performance to the 2070 Super. Likewise for the 5700 vs the 2070. ATI has a slight edge, but also has no Gsync and the drivers are hot garbage. Come the 3 series, I may just buy a 3060 and sell my 5700XT off on craigslist or something.

    It'll be a while, I have nowhere near enough isopropyl to properly clean prints right now. Of course COVID panic hits right before my printer arrives. Oh well.

    Going by the weight you might be able to use a Bandai Action Base 1 (for gunpla) with one of the U-connectors.

    ...Meanwhile I went ATI for my graphics card for the first time ever, and am not going to do that again. 5700XT, but the drivers are garbage. Up to date but still getting driver crashes, audio over DisplayPort issues. At least the black screen flashes seem to have stopped for the moment. Anyone considering ATI GPUs, do yourself a favor and don't.

    My friend's take (which I can't ignore now) is that it looks like a CG cutscene from an older videogame. I think it's due to the camera being commonly stationary. As far as the plot goes, yeah definitely got vibes of the older series in the second half. Though the whole "sustainable war" thing is still incredibly dumb.
