    Supposedly it's incorporating aspects from the "Gunpla Evolution" project. More detail, better articulation, multi-color molded parts, easier assembly, etc...

    Head now has removable/replaceable center spike, and side head lasers made out of a different material. Hips now use a different design, which looks like the one used in the YF-19 (ought to be easier to loosen/tighten, and more durable) Mid-wing engines are now mounted on ratcheted swivels, rather than the normal swivels. Possibly it is now in a Matte finish.

    I'm wondering as well. I have both versions of the HiRM Wing in my (copious) backlog. I could do a runner-by-runner check I suppose.

    Not gunna lie, my favorite Eaglemoss BSG ships are the Cylon Raider and the Basestar. The Vipers look pretty good as well, but they really nailed the Cylon ships.

    I think Alto is the only one who had all 3, so there's at least that. Ozma only had Super and Armor Luca only had Super Michael had Super and Tornado

    I have spent quite a lot of time figuring out how to tweak the 3D printer we use at work to spit out flat parts (we want stuff flat to 0.1mm or so). It still only works about 3 in 4 times for larger things (it's a 16" x 16" build area). For best results: use a heated bed, and decrease the bed heat every few layers until it's just above room temp (I go down 5deg C every 2 layers from 65 to 35). Alternatively, put an enclosure around the printer so the temp stays constant. FDM has huge issues with leftover internal stresses due to the thermal expansion/contraction of the plastic as it cools, as well as the build plate if you use a heated bed.

    So, I believe the Exia has the advantage of the lighting kit, but the Strike has a better/more detailed internal frame. Also they recently released a PG Perfect Strike you may be able to hunt down. It has some updated armor parts alongside the launcher/striker/aile packs. As to durability, joint strength, etc... I haven’t built either (the Strike is in my backlog), but the Red Frame shares a lot of the inner frame with the Strike, and it has pretty good posability and joint strength based on the two I’ve built.

    I imagine Amazon also ships enough quantity via DHL that the overhead DHL incurrs on their shipments goes down significantly as well. Costs a lot less to schedule one semi than hundreds of smaller trucks.

    Oh I know, they eventually delivered my Kairos as well (and I ended up with 2 "safety" Kaisos' in the meantime...). I've got a 0D on order with them via Ferry shipping for the low cost. Of course I also have one going to FromJapan which will come my way via FedEx or DHL for the impatience factor.

    So, anyone want to guess how many years until the NY orders show up? I hope the shipping issues with EMS calm down before release.

    The wing pivots are explicitly called out as ratcheting this time, which is a HUGE improvement to anyone who wants to put supers on.

    Supers are absolutely compatible. So are the shoulder gap fillers. There are differences between the molds, however, so some things might not fit.

    The swordfish really needs an articulated stand, something that lets you see it from an oblique angle.
