    ¥40,891 for 2 shipped to California with Amazon Japan. $218.55 for 1 with Nin-Nin and FedEx/DHL shipping. Would have been $210 w/o paypal fee, but didn't trust their credit card processor.

    So it costs almost as much as one of the Metal Build Evas, has less detail, fewer accessories, less diecast, but better articulation and more anime-accurate. I'm good with my Metal Builds.

    It certainly sounded like the script was translated from a Japanese release, what with how they kept repeating a few choice "Engrish" phrases.

    Over 14" tall and almost $600? That's one hell of a figure.

    They look great, but the joints are quite loose, especially the waist. I need to add some future so it'll stop slouching.

    That was someone else. I do have a single Yamato Tomahawk (Olive, weathered) that I got from Jenius quite a while ago. I have lots of Yamato stuff, just until now it was a single V1 VF-1A Max that's still in it's sealed box.

    Fun fact, this is my first Yamato V2 VF-1. And only my second Yamato VF-1. Started collecting during the Arcadia releases, so there wasn't much drive to hunt down older and more expensive Yamato stuff.

    ...Explain why they still haven't shipped my VF-4. It was 6 weeks between when when it released and when service to the US was suspended. That's 6 weeks where they didn't ship it out. Either they sat on it, or they oversold their stock and were waiting to get more in. For 6 weeks. In either case it's frankly not good business, moreso when their communication with the customer is so abjectly terrible.

    Jungle only ships via Japan post, the only option they gave me was via Surface or to wait for EMS. So I'm waiting for EMS, as I'd rather not let that one sit on a cargo ship for weeks in the middle of summer.

    Well, I just got in my Hikaru 1S, and the weathering on that looks much closer to the Roy 1S than the Hikaru 1J. It's still sealed in the clamshell, and I haven't mustered the courage to pop it open yet. The canopy looks to be completely undamaged though.

    Managed to get two at MSRP, plus a used one from Mandarake for just over MSRP. All in my quest to make sure I actually got a single one... There's also 4x DX Yf-19 figures, 2EA of DX VF-1S and VF-1A, and both PF and non-PF SDF-1s. Btw you've totally inspired me, need to do a Kairos+VF-0D shelf with the 2 PF 0Ds I have on order.

    Current thinking is that it's a completely new kit. The old frame wouldn't be able to fit LEDs, and the proportions have been changed. I'll be in for one, may as well add to my collection of unicorn and unicorn derivatives (6 HGs, 5 RGs, 2 MGs, 2PGs)

    FedEx lied to me. They said delivered within the next hour, but it hasn’t even reached customs yet. Expecting it Thurs/Fri at this point.
