    It's ordered off the P-Bandai listing via a proxy. Still just shows as completed, undelivered. So we play the waiting game.

    Wow, that's a damn good deal. MSRP (for all of those together) would have been around $300 before shipping.

    Looks great, thanks for the paint info, as the bits at the end of the extending booms on the main guns worry me a bit.

    So for under $300 you have two options: Wait till release day, and hope the scalper price drops or there's extra MSRP stock available Wait till after release day, and hope someone on the forums is willing to sell a spare at cost.

    FYI, you can pay through paypal in Yen, you just need to select currency options and turn it back to yen (it will always default to your native currency).

    Cards that lack currency conversion fees are typically marketed as "Travel" cards. Over time it'll save quite a bit, it's a similar idea to getting a card with high gas rewards and using it only for buying gas.

    I will suggest to everyone who buys stuff internationally that a "travel" credit card is a great investment. Pay it off every month so you pay no interest, use it to charge-back when things don't get delivered, and pay no currency conversion fees. Especially with companies like NY and Nin-Nin, where the more leverage you have regarding getting your money back the better.

    Ok, this is getting ridiculous. The price went UP after they released another wave of missiles? From ¥8,000 to ¥9,000; on something with a MSRP of ¥4400?

    Currently we have: DYRL: Hikaru 1S Kakizaki 1A Super Parts SDFM: Hikaru 1J Max 1A Super Parts (Pre-Order, w/ TV reaction missiles) Roy 1S (Pre-Order) Plus the missile sets which include both SDFM missiles and DYRL missiles, plus DYRL reaction warheads. So, yeah, I'm expecting we'll eventually end up with at least Roy+Hikaru+Max+Kakizaki for both DYRL and SDFM.

    Yeah, I'm debating doing a pilot and canopy swap from one of my 1Js and leaving it in Battroid.

    Supers on the 1S don’t really bother me. The only real differences between TV Roy 1S and Hikaru 1S are the pilot and the name in the canopy. Which are pretty minor, and not even visible in Battroid.

    Well at least NY doesn’t have a quantity limit, but very glad my second proxy came through right now.

    Oh yeah, I wouldn't watch either Gleipnir or Tsugumomo around family. Gleipnir I'd at least watch with friends though.

    Yeah, at this point I've ended up with both a YF-29 and a VF-1S Roy pre-ordered with Nin-Nin (at MSRP). Hope there's no shenannigans.

    That and the super parts are going to be available at numerous gray market sites over the course of the week. Shouldn't be any issue getting some unless you want several at the same store, or want to use a proxy.

    They announced and put up (as a web exclusive) the TV super packs (with red-tip reaction missiles).

    Since they don't have any official overseas vendors for Macross stuff it makes any defective items/returns a gigantic pain to deal with. If you get a defective Gunpla you send it to the distributor for your country. If you get a defective macross item, well look at how much Arcadia had to do to deal with the leg issues, and that wasn't even supported for non-Japan customers directly.

    Well, woke up and got a confirmation email on 4 sets from my proxy. Anyone still looking might try giving DeJapan a check, they seem to have more p-Bandai accounts than FromJapan.
