  1. Bit different for Kakizaki, since that was a TWE, rather than retail release. Still, keep an eye on yahoo japan auctions and Amazon Japan.
  2. Same, I order however many I want +1 usually. The exception is the upcoming Kakizaki where I only ordered 1. The concern is palpable.
  3. Class 1? I want to know how you're managing that, even the wafer fabs I know of only go up to class 100.
  4. There's a clear space version of the pale rider up right now. https://p-bandai.com/us/item/N2475079001001
  5. You're correct, unless someone made a garage kit I'm not aware of. At least the SV-262 kits have a better transformation than the figure. The decals/stickers aren't too terrible, as far as Macross kits go.
  6. Looks like it got scanned at delivery, but not until then. I blame USPS less for that than I do the third party shipper that was using them as "last mile" service for the actual delivery.
  7. That's about what I paid for mine. From Mandarake.
  8. The chest gives me a Full Metal Panic vibe, the legs are a bit more gundam style, but the head reminds me of the VF-25/29/31.
  9. Mine was the same. Just found it in my post box when I went down to collect a different package today.
  10. Picked up a few things, one of which showed up by surprise. Totally Not MacrossTM F-14 from "Black Aces" The weathering and detail on this look amazing, frankly. A Yamato VF-17S, courtesy of @blackconvoy_D01, which puts me 1 step closer to being able to put up a 1/60 "History of VF" display. Still short a VF-4, and need to put together the 1/60 Ghost from @valhary. Finally the one that showed up in my post box with no warning: A RG Gundam Nu. With chrome plating, from ShowZ Store. Since I couldn't find an official plated one. On the bright side, they also chrome the inner frame as well. I'm sure there will be fit issues.
  11. Of the 4 different proxies I've used, the only one that charges a percentage fee is ZenMarket. So it's more a question of why ZenMarket is different. My original suspicion is that it wasn't a CC fee, but rather a currency conversion fee, as PayPal charges the same 3.5% last I looked. When only 1 in 4 businesses of the same type charges a fee, you start wondering why the 1 is different, not why the 3 are.
  12. From Japan doesn't have any transaction fees to cover aside from the credit card percentage. You pay them in Yen, and they pay the seller in Yen. All the other fees are either on the Buyer's end (if they require payment through paypal or such), or on your end (currency conversion). So yeah, I will 100% use FJ (or DeJapan, or Buyee, none of which charge a deposit fee) before I use ZenMarket.
  13. I'm not sure there's enough demand to cover another production run, unfortunately. Now, if they put out a PF VF-0A, with ghost booster...
  14. Yeah, that sounds right. It's not even obvious anywhere. I was pretty pissed how I put in my order, looked up all the fees and everything, and then at the end they're like: Hey, you need charge your balance to pay this, and we take a percentage of what you charge onto your balance. You thought our fees were ¥300? Think again, you owe more. Absolutely scummy to tack that on at the end, after you're essentially done with the order. [edit] I understand it's likely a currency conversion fee, but that's why I have a zero conversion fee credit card. FromJapan lets me pay them in Yen, ZenMarket forces you to pay their rates.
  15. When I used them, a while ago (2018), they charged me an actual percentage when I went to pay for an order. I think it was like 3%? Never used them again.
  16. Pulled mine out, gotta say the weathering is very well done. More like pre-shading than the ink/gunk-wash that the PF-0D has. The lining is also much more subtle.
  17. Funds Deposit Fee/Money Transfer Fee. You pay them a percentage on top of any money you pay them.
  18. Worth noting: ZenMarket charges you a percentage.
  19. I don't generally mind, but I'm a bit tired of seeing spam posts with a bunch of un-spoiler'd pictures of hotwheels and cheap crappy looking marvel figs. No offense to those who love em, but I have zero nostalgia for that stuff, and they just look cheap and usually ugly to me.
  20. The PF stuff has been hit and miss. The ones that seem to have sold the best were the 0D and SDF-1. While the basic PF Max/Milia didn't sell well at all, and the VE-1 and 0S sold decently. I think they've been trying to figure out their sweet spot with the PF.
  21. Of COURSE they put up the RG Perfectability, after I just paid $138 to get one through Amazon Japan 2 days ago. Knew I ought to have waited, oh well. The Plated Sazabi looks pretty sexy as well. (At least this one is the same price I paid for mine)
  22. Given advanced avionics: they probably just have it tuned up, and then tell the flight control software to simulate being normal or de-tuned as necessary.
  23. Buyee and Tenso are the same company. There’s a reason my Goto these days is From Japan.
  24. Resissue? I am totally not surprised they're doing multiple production runs, thing looks awesome. Can't wait for mine from ShowZ. Which still shows Q2 2021 for delivery date...
  25. That’s pretty flimsy plausible deniability there...
